Home on the range

Busy Baby is still sick! He was doing well until yesterday when he sprang a 102 fever. We went to the doctor this morning and, as many of you know what comes next, he was fine. No fever, no nothing. He's still a bit congested, so I'm home with him.

I'm trying to coin a new phrase. When you're excited about something, I'm going to start using the phrase, "You're like Busy Baby in a soccer store."

Many of you know my youngest child has a passion for all things sports, balls, especially. I made the mistake of running by a soccer store to pick up a couple of things for Busy Girl for Christmas and hoo boy! This kids was wild, even the expressionless young adult male working there was amazed. I'm usually not one to let a toddler roam about in someone's store, but I made the mistake of putting him down for a minute and that was all she wrote for a display of soccer balls. He was in heaven.

He's napping right now, so I'm either going to eat some fudge pie or do some Internet shopping. Hey! How 'bout both?

Mmmm...pie. Got any hot coffee to go with that? I don't feel like making another pot...

Hope he feels better soon. Sick babies are no fun :(

I say both, oh no sorry to hear that he's not improved or that it went south. We broke down and begged for Zithro... and voila, better. yeah.

You MUST stop talking about fudge! Stop it! Oohh, I can't take it. I have NO willpower!

Hope your BusyBaby feels better very soon! I am all for pie and shopping!

Ohh, I hope your lil busy boy gets better soon. It's amazing how you get them to the doctor and all of a sudden they're all better. It must be a baby conspiracy or something.

Who said you can't have your pie and shop too??
