It's here!

It's 2004! So far, it looks a lot like 2003, but then again, I haven't been outside yet.

The kids got to stay up to watch Dick Clark, poor Busy Boy fell asleep at 11:55, but we badgered him awake long enough to see the "2004" light up. He was not a happy camper. Busy Girl fixed us all banana milkshakes which is her current specialty. Busy Baby fell out around 10:30.

It's funny, years ago, I would have had this nagging feeling we should be out "doing something" on NYE. We had been getting invitations to a fancy party the last few years but have never been able to go because of babysitting reasons. We didn't get an invite this year, (guess they gave up on us) but you know what? That's OK, because we were right where we were supposed to be.

Happy Happy New Year!!!!!!

Glad you had a great night! Happy 2004 to the whole Busy Family!

Happy 2004! A passel of luck on you!

Good way to celebrate. I love banana milkshakes.

Happy New Year. We spent it with friends (lots of them) No drinking...except coffee, tea, soda. And lots of food. VERY nice.

We did the same thing - stayed at home and let Moira stay up with us. By the way, LOVE the hat on your logo on the main page!

I was in jammies and had my faced washed by 7:30 last night.

I'm a party animal...you can say it.

Happy New Year, Busy Mom!!!!

Heh, we watched the ball drop eastern time and told the kids it was the new year and sent them to bed by 11:15. LOL

Sounds like a fun new years eve - with your family :) That's very cute about the banana milkshakes :) How special that she made them all for you.

Yes, Happy New Year. Our church had a new years party last night, lots of singing and fun. Best party I have ever been to, no drunks and no fighting and got to be with people I love!

Happy New Year Busy Family!

Is it just me, or is this the first year Dick Clark looked (and sounded) as old as he is??

When the kids were little we always spent New Year's Eve home with them. The past few years it's been just the wife and I and we've been going to the first night thing in town. This year my oldest daughter who now lives in Texas was home and we all spent the evening together at home like the old days. It was a really nice evening. Glad to hear you had one too.

That's right! ;)

Happy new year!

I agree. It is usually safer too.
