Friday, April 30
Make yourself at home

Does the *It's a Rainy Friday Morning and I'm at Home Alone All Day Dance*

I went to the grocery last night where they have a display of patio furniture (the fact that you can buy furniture at the grocery is the topic of another post, I'm sure). It was set up right inside the door.

When I walked in, there were 2 guys who had obviously just bought their groceries and were sitting at this table. They had opened some of whatever they'd just bought, one guy had a plastic glass from the colorful plastic dinnerwar section and they were having a grand old time.

At first, I thought it was some kind of promotion and I was eagerly looking for my free sample of anything, but then I realized they were just sitting there. Perhaps I was on an episode of Jackass?

LOL The grocery stores in Texas do the same thing. Heck you can get your Christmas trees there in December too.

Maybe it's a Southern thang? =)

Did you go up and ask for a bite though?

You could have just stood there and gazed longingly at their refreshements until they asked you to sit down..........

Wish I could stay home today. Everyone in the house was so cranky this morning.

maybe you should have sat down and pretended too! they might have shared some food and drinks with you!

Good times at the grocery store, eh? Sounds fun to me. A perfect place to people watch!

Back in the day - I bought 2 of those plastic patio chairs at my grocery store (3 dollars EACH). I went home and realized, I paid for them, but never put them in the car. it was minorly embarassing.

Were you at Publix? I crack on dh all the time for his patio furnitute catalog (he's a manager there but can't get us a deal on the damn furniture!)

I do that ALL. THE. TIME. The management only lets me sit there for about 10 minutes though. Something about scarey customers....
