Oh, dear.

Roll call for dying appliances/utilities in the Busy House:

1. Refrigerator? Check.
2. HVAC? Check.
3. All upstairs phone service? Check.

Did I leave anything out?

Ugh - most frustrating - we are on the dishwasher death watch here.

Yikes.

For a second I thought it might be important. Like your modem.

I have a slow draining bathtub. Does that count for anything?

Sounds like us.We ended up having 3 stereos,tv,vcr, computer, garbage disposal,& phone hit with the lightening last week. And then 2 days later...the dryer died.
Lovely.

Maybe BestBuy will have a buy 2 get 1 free appliance sale. We can dream can't we?

OH NO! You've caught my house's Appliance Dying Illness! (ADI for short, I think I may have to start a charity.)

We've replaced the a/c & furnace, garbage disposal, dining room light fixture (okay that was me throwing stuffed animals, loooong story!), kitchen range, and water softener all within the last 2 months.

My personal favourite is when all the lightbulbs in the house decide to burn out at the same time...what is THAT about?
Oh and bad drainage does count - as all the sinks clog at the same time too...synchronicity...

I don't hvae appliances on their death bed, but the sinks are corroding due to all of the limestone we have in the water. I don't have much money for this repair because we spent it all on vacation last week. Priorities.

UM.. Is your laundry working ok?? Better check with the luck you had this week!!

Add my dishwasher and tons of burned out bulbs to the list! UGHHHHH Why can't these things just self repair?!?!?

Ooh. I'm stealing this idea. I have my own roll call... thanks Busy Mom. GREAT idea. :) Why I never thought of it before, I'll never know.
