If you fry that ice cream sandwhich up you can refreeze it when the fridge gets ixed. That way you don't have to worry about food poisoning.

Perhaps your refrigerator caught some sort of illness from my 'fridge, and now I think the stove might have this appliance virus, too. All this sounds like a reason to eat out to me. :o)
