We dont have wal-mart where I am and a few weeks ago I finally got ot go to one. I was so happy like a little kid running around playing with stuff.

A few months ago I went to the nearest Walmart for the first time since we moved here 2 years ago and it was so scary that I literally ended up running out of the store. But this fall we are getting a Target which I'm really excited about except that I lose whole days wondering around their stores.

Oh, I did the WallyMart thing today also. Got out of there only 50 bucks poorer. I rock.

You linger by the DVD stand, busy mom.

You toss socks, cokes, chips, and bathroom items into the cart which is run into by many men so obscurely without control on a Sunday night.

Busy mom grabs her last bag of Snickers and heads to the shortest line.

She picked the wrong line of course. A custodian is having a verbal argument with the cashier in a language busy mom is unfamiliar with.

Eventually she escapes the old lady by the door watching her distrustfully.

Busy mom prays the key turns on the ignition. It works. She is soon back to her computer.

What a trial for us all.

We don't have a neighborhood Wal Mart, and the closest to us is labeled as the dirtiest one in the chain. Doesn't really give me the desire shop there. I think I'll stick with the newly remodeled Target.
