The Anthony Wiggles concert was lots of fun! Believe it or not, I haven't laughed that hard in a while. They were actually pretty funny.
There's song called "Captain's Magic Buttons" where Captain Feathersword wears a vest with buttons and each time a button is pushed, he has to sing his song in a different way (opera, rock and roll, robot, etc.) Anthony kept saying, "Oh, here's a button we've never seen before, it's your (blank) button!" He would fill in the blank with singers names and the Captain Feathersword guy obviously had NO idea what was going to come next. There was the "Mick Jagger" button, the "Barney the Dinosaur" button, the "Bob Dylan" button and the best one was, "Look! It's your Shania Twain button!" The Captain sang every one of them, quite well, actually.
We had a great time, but most of all, I'm very thankful that all my kids are innocent enough to truly enjoy it. There's plenty of time for the "grown-up" stuff later and some of that stuff isn't very fun, anyway.

We saw the Wiggles a year ago and it was a lot of fun. Of all the annoying kid music stuff out there, the Wiggles are not very annoying and generally quite good. Did you remember to bring a rose for Dorothy?
We've been TV-free for over two years now, and yet my 4-1/2 yr old son STILL remembers "Fruit Salad...Yummy, Yummy!" Sadly, so do I (lol!).
If your current moblog image is any indicator the Busy Kids sure look like they had fun!
Glad you enjoyed it, I know you have been looking forward to seeing
AnthonyThe Wiggles ;)heh I haven't seen the wiggles in so long :) think they've spent too much time in the US
It's great to see there is still a place for folks to go as a family and everyone has a good time.
I know the kids love The Wiggles (as they do Barney, Blue's Clues, etc), but I have to be honest - I cannot stand for them to be on the TV. I do admit, however, that I catch myself sometimes mesmerized, watching, thinking to myself, "these are grown men!"
Who cares, right? As long as the kids love them. I wonder if my parents hated Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Greenjeans???
Oh, yeah, I almost forgot - I sure would hate to be the littlest one!!
And here I thought I was the only one with a crush on Anthony.lol. And an evening with the Wiggles is better than ANY time with Barney.
YEAH... like paying bills. That's so NOT fun.
I saw the wiggles about 3 yrs ago when my son was in preschool. I swear Anthony was making eyes at me.
We were there Saturday, too! We went to the 5:00 show and were on the opposite side from you, according to your mobile pic. I have to agree, it was quite fun. The look on my 2 y.o.'s face was totally worth it!
