...finding a Snickers when you thought the kids bags were down to the third tier Halloween candy.

My kids got a bunch of Snickers this year. And I've been eating them...

I LOVE your new look here. It's really great.

You actually found a Snickers? Wow. After the boys were here this weekend all we have left is jaw breakers.

Jackpot!! WOOHOO!

Third? We are still on the 1st and we are taking half of it into work daily to get rid of it!!

Mmmm Snickers! This was the first year we took Jude trick or treating. He only hit about 10 houses so our pickings from his pumpkin were slim. I think we've got a blow pop and one of those peanut butter chew things left. You know the ones, in the black or orange wrappers!

I did the SAME thing! Except mine was a butterfinger, but I heard angels!

You found the gold prize.

It's funny the excitement it causes as you cast your eyes around the room to make sure no one actually saw your find. Mine, Mine, Mine you whisper as you tuck it into your pocket.

Something good at the middle of the candy bucket is quite a prize.

My kids had a bag (ok, THE bag) of halloween candy stashed in their closet last night. After it was discovered (by me) I sent one child in to excavate.

"You aren't going to throw this away, are you daddy?"

Oh, no I'm not. At least not the chocolate. Who knew you still had a half dozen Twix bars?

ROFL. And I thought I was the only one. I don't eat much chocolate but Snickers -- I love 'em (and Twix).

My kids still have some Snickers left (although they are the ones that are only the size of a thumbnail - what's with that?) I could trade you for any Milky Ways you might have...

The 14 year old still has quite a stash of chocolate left but we haven't really been hitting hers much. Now the 1 year old is all out of chocolate and Smarties (Sweettarts just aren't the same). His bag is down to the dregs...oh what a find it would be if there were another chocolate bar in there...

My daughter has HIDDEN her Halloween candy! How much does THAT suck?!

I can resist the Snickers....NOT THE REESES! The third tier gets pretty ugly with the wrapped orange and black taffy!!

Isn't that great, when all you see is small suckers, bubble gum, tart and tangy things, and hard candy. Then something desirable appears!
