This one's for youI was absentmindedly standing in line a minute ago waiting for barrista boy to hurry up with make my liquid crack (Caramel Apple Cider) when I saw a lady who works in a small procedural area of my department. She had a tray with 4 coffee drinks and I asked her if she was expecting a rough day, what with 4 drinks and all.
She replied, "Oh, no. We have some patients who are Veterans and these are for them."
Thank you to all who served and are serving now.

I'm always thankful for our men and women in uniform, and the veterans who already served!
That was so thoughtful!!! TD's a veteran and other than those great VA loans and the GI Bill, it's rare that anyone acknowledges him serving in the first Gulf War. Then again, I know what he did there, so I just laugh at him, but still.... ;-)
Here here!
Semper Fi! Believe it or not, I was in the Marine Corps right after high school. I didn't serve in any foreign wars, though. I did go to the e-club a lot. Does that count? :)
Heh. You said "crack".
Please tell me you're not also giving them hospital food. Not today, at least... :)
carmel apple cider? omg! Where do I buy it? sounds like crack to me.
cute blog!
I'd like to buy Caramel Apple Cider for all our fellow citizens in the armed forces. Thanks for watching our backs!
That was SO sweet of her to do. I'm glad you got your dose of "liquid crack" today. I know the dragging feeling of not getting a "fix".
Good for her.
That was so nice of her!! And yes I am grateful!
I am a vet, although I worked in hospitals all 5 years. I, too deployed myself to many e-clubs~~I call it giving back.
