"Last Letters Home"Did anyone hear this story on NPR this afternoon? It's worth listening to, if you have the time. I cried all the way home from work today.

Despite being a cop, I'm also a cryer. I'll have to skip the link as I have no tissue nearby!!
I don't know if I could handle it--I'm such a weeper. My family despairs of me sometimes...
YES! I heard it earlier today. It tugs at my heart with incredible strength.

Thanks, Busy Mom. We take so much for granted, don't we?
Those things are just so hard to read or to hear. To know that they have a family at home, but they were supporting our country out of their own free will. My dad was in Vietnam, back when there was about a 50% return rate. All I have to say is at least there is a much higher return rate today, but thank you to all those who have served to make our country safer. And to all of those who have lost their lives, R.I.P., you will never be forgotten.
I followed your link, but since I'm a massive cryer (and crying at work is not approved behavior)I continued following links and found that the show can be seen on HBO2-East tonight (friday) at 10:00 PM eastern. I'll be watching.
I heard it last night -- and my tears woke my 18-month old, who was sleeping in my lap.
Very powerful!
