Forgot to adjust for Daylight Saving Time?

did you know you have a sidebar ad for "meet sexy singles looking for chats and hook-ups'? Gives new meaning to "Busy Mom" ! :)

I guess the early bird really gets the worm..

Of course, if the worm ain't out of bed yet...

Eeek. Thats more than "a little early"

Yikes!!! That's a little too early for words. What do people think????

"Get a life", I'd have to say...that'd be the day that I could afford to be that early to something; what a waste of time! :)

I get to appointments early, but that's insane. The earliest I've ever been is 20 minutes. If it's earlier than that, I'm too embarrased and I sit in my car or go do something else. Just curiouse, but is it an older person?

LOL. She/he was trying to beat traffic?

Go ahead and call someone from the psych ward because this person is evidentally a mental patient. It is INSANE to be that early for anything!

Every once in a while I'll totally mis-judge travel times and end up somewhere impossibly early ... but I wouldn't go in and just sit there. I'd find a coffee shop or something.

Are they still there?

*twiddles thumbs*

So, since they were 1 1/2 hours early, did you make them wait until 11:30 to see them? :)

Well some people feel promptness is a virtue. A virtue I'm not familiar with, but I've screwed up so many of those virtue things so far what does one more mean.

Did you make him/her wait til 10??

I don't think the 10am patient gets it either? lol

That's crazy-talk. Doesn't that person sleep? Or have something else to do? Gah.

An important update about puntuality!

I was just making a cup of tea, every bag has a little tag with a quote and mine says

"Punctuality is the virtue of the bored." ~ Evelyn Waugh (1903-1966)

I suppose 1 1/2 early is much better (and more considerate) than 1 1/2 late. I work with people on an appointment basis. I really hate when they are super late. I feel bad making them wait but then again the early birds usually only show up when I am trying to grab a quick breakfast or lunch.

How long did you have them wait?

heh. They didn't get all lippy on you for being that early did they?

Maybe they have the wrong appointment time written down. I'll admit, I'm one of those that gets to my daughter's Peds appointments 30 minutes early~on purpose.

As they say in the Army:
If you are early, you are on time, if you are on time, you are late!

Now that's early. I had a doc appt today and arrived 15 minutes early. 2.5 hours later I left the office. ACK what a wait!

Maybe that's when he/she could get a ride? I know my ex-husband has dropped me off 1 1/2 hours early for appointments because we had one car, and he was on his way to work...

I used to rely on the transit system when I was in University. I had to arrive either 30 minutes early or 30 minutes late - that's the way the schedule worked.
But 1 1/2 hours IS a bit excessive. Hopefully they brought a book or something? Maybe they just like you so much they wanted to chat?

So tell me, how did you handle this early patient? What was their reason for being so early?

Wow! Maybe she forgot what time her apointment is was for and guessed.

That reminds me of people who call the answering service. They will have an appointment in their home with a repair man for instance. They say "I was supposed to have someone out at 4:30pm, and wanted to know if he was still coming. Meanwhile it's 3:00pm, and no I will not call them.

Me? If I had a 10:00am I would be lucky to get there by 10:05am... because I am always late!
