A good Saturday morning to all! You may notice I'm not at the soccer field. Soccer is over and, (drumroll, please) we officially have no sports today. However, basketball starts in a couple of weeks here and Saturdays will still bring 2 kids in sports, but this time at 2 different venues! Additionally, I will be embarking on a full season of toddler wrangling in small grade-school gyms across the city, as Busy Dad is helping coach Busy Boy's team and will be on the bench for all his games. I think it is on purpose...
I've folded two loads of laundry, made the coffee, thought long and hard about cleaning up the kitchen, fixed myself some cinnamon toast which Busy Baby begged off me after appearing from out of nowhere and have had to punish Busy Boy already for going ape-shit over not being able to attach the carboard bug wings he made for himself to his pajamas (his father made a way to attach them last night, but BB destroyed that).
Busy Girl has a skating party to go to later today. It just happens to be near a great mall I never get to go to and the best Target ever. And darn my luck if the party doesn't last 3 hours. I'd hate to have to drive all the way home after droppping her off, so I think I'll need to stay around there. Saves gas and all.

Wow, no sports to drive around for and three hours to shop? Sounds like heaven to me!
Have a great weekend. - No sports! Is that like a vacation?!
Notice how she says is saves gas....not that it saves money. LOL
Yay shopping. I love shopping... Yeah I'm a guy too, wanna make something of it? Hey swing by here and take me along I can be your pack mule!
No sports today! Woohoo! Yeah...I think you should "save some gas" too. What to do for three hours??? Hmmm.... SHOP!
I think the environmentalists would appreciate your willingness to shop in order to save fossil fuels. A very noble sacrifice on your part....
I will be in birthday party mode this afternoon, too -- but on the hosting end of things. I'm heading to the bowling alley with six 7-year-olds.
My daughter attended 3 birthday parties last weekend, so we are partied out for a while.
You've had a busy day already. Send me coffee because I haven't had any yet.
The measure of a mother's love is how gracefully she will sacrifice cinnamon toast to her son. Good luck at Target, don't break the bank.
Does it count as saving money if you spend what you save on gas in Target? ;-)
I remember those wonderful halcion days between sporting seasons. Hope you had a great day!
