Saturday night's alrightGreetings from out of town. We're here to visit our friend mentioned a couple of posts back. We don't know how long he's got so we just came on up to the Gateway of the West. We drove straight to his house and tried to see him, but he had just had a seizure (cancer has spread to his brain) and wasn't up for visitors. We'll go tomorrow instead.
Drove 5 hours non-stop right from the kids basketball games. They were wonderfully behaved, we are blessed with good travelers. Now were here staying with good friends who fixed us a great dinner and we're having a lovely evening. Getting ready to watch Shaun of the Dead. How you doin'?

Things were slow here. Seth has the same thing Toni's son has, it sounds like. Tomorrow looks like more of the same.
We're fine here. I think I can declare myself 90%cured of a month long cough - just in time for Tony to get it. We did attend services today, however. Now the guys are in bed, and I'm heading there. Hope you have a chance to see your friend soon.

What did you think of "Shaun of the Dead"? I just watched it with my daughter on Friday night. It's one of her favorites. It was fun, although she did warn me to cover my eyes at least once (she could have done it more!)
I hope you get to see him today. That has to be tough.
