Busymom.net: Go with the flow

Consistent with my life as of late, Busy Girl is in the school clinic with er, um, gastrointestinal issues. I was speaking with the school nurse and I told her just to keep Busy Girl there, observe her and her father would come get her.

Nurse: "OK, I'll just keep her here and we'll see how things flow."
My Inner 13 Year Old Boy (who would not be denied): "Yep, I imagine we sure will, won't we?"
Nurse: "Um yes." *spews noises that translate to ,"I can't believe you just said that"*

That's odd. I have a 12 year old girl who lives inside me. Her name is Opal. Right now she is huddled underneath my desk right now because my boss is a raving idiot.

Wasn't that long ago I'd have been cluless. Being dad to a girl changed that- very, very traumatic.
