...thinking you were going to get an ass-kicking on a conference call and nothing happening. It was really quite dull.
In other news, I did actually get the skirt the other day. It showed up in the mailbox, which makes me think a neighbor had it. FedEx never did call back to see if I got it, though. Now, I just need to see how it's going to solve all my fashion dilemmas. Or not.
As for the all that and a bag of chips thing, it is a source of contention in our house. Other than at a party or with formal guests, I say just reach in the bag and get the chips. Busy Dad, on the other hand thinks, the more large bowls the better. Chip bowls for everyone! More dishes for me.
Let's see. what else is going on? I just got my evaluation, I love my boss. I can't wait for June when I get a hearty handshake and a couple of bucks for a raise. Oh well, not his fault.
I had to go to the doctor this morning, he's really quite nice and very shy. I had to warn him about using the phrase, "at your age" like the opthamologist kept doing yesterday. Poor guy, he found himself starting to say it (and actually, I had been kidding him) and he would stumble over it and quickly say, "in your age range...."
Speaking of ninja masks (OK, I was lacking a transition) It's still cold and raining here. I saw the Fed Ex guy in long pants, I think that means 6 more weeks of winter.

Not 6 weeks! If you get 6 weeks I'll get at least 8 here in Minnesota. GAH!
ninja masks? I don't know what is better, to be told "at your age" or be lectured by your eye doctor (as I was) like I was his daughter. Yes, I understand he was probably around my father's age...but I did kind of giggle that he felt the need to lecture me like my father would. I knew he wasn't trying to be condescending so I didn't take offense, but man it was funny. I felt like saying yes, Dad. No dad...alright dad.
Man, I gotta call for a doctor's appointment. I'm less worried about "at your age" than "at your weight."
jezze I usually read your blog daily but stuffs been busy and I'm behind. That sucks about the weather, same thing here, Today its 67 but the past few days it was raning and cold, down to 30 and Sunday it snowed.
About the chip bowl/bag issue. I share with a 4 year old, and it took only one time to reach in the bag and get a soggy de-salted chip to tell me that she needed her own bowl.
She is welcome to as many fill-ups as she wants, but I shall not bite another soggy, cold, de-salted chip!
congratulations on your evaluation. If you love your boss, it must have been good. Maybe they'll surprise you and give you a hearty raise.
LMAO about the Fed Ex guy!!!!!!
My hubby has fits, if it's just the kids, I dump the chips in little piles on the table. My hubby is truly Mr. Clean and Tidy. He worked out of the house for 6 months once and we nearly killed each other. He has no idea the 4:45 p.m. rush clean I do in the house each evening!
NOT... that I'm a pig or anything, just a realist with three kids.
Fedex guy in long pants? Very interesting. There are certain undertones that we detect...
Never mind.
As for pants and forecasts, well, we think the UPS guys are the weather barometers.
Brown, too, is an interesting color..
It could be worse. You could have an 18# bag of peanuts in the shell that a certain somebody is eating in bed. Say- nice site, fun reading, great writing. I stopped by to thank you for your kind comment at S,C and A- think I'll stay tuned. Oh- and the women of a certain age thing only gets worse.
You actually SAW the FedEx guy? Did you get a picture????
;)

Just found you today and can't stop smirking and chuckling. Looking forward to adventures of Busy Family :)
Wow. FedEx guy in pants. Interesting. I don't even think they OWN pants here - too hot year round for frivolous cover ups such as pants!
I haven't seen any fed ex guys lately, but the mailman was wearing shorts last week and pants this week. We went from 80 some degrees down to the 30's. Stupid Pennsylvania weather.
God...please no!I can't stand anymore winter!
How did you get a "hearty handshake" over the computer wires? Was it a picture of a hearty handshake? Or maybe just one thumb up?
