Thanks for all the nice Mother's Day wishes, I hope everyone had a great day. Those good wishes extend to dead psychiatrists, too, btw.
Yes, Friday night, I went to a party full of bloggers. Most of the people there were attending Blog Nashville, it was quite the list of distinguished and some nationally known bloggers. I didn't actually attend the sessions, as I didn't see a forum for mothers who blog about, well, whatever it is I blog about (apparently, people are under the impression that all I do is write about kids and "mommy stuff" as I got a couple of raised eyebrows along with, "Oh, I don't have kids, so I can't relate-s" in the ladies room when asked about my blog), but the party was fun and I enjoyed talking to several nice people. At least I know Jordana understands me.
Busy Girl went on a Girl Scout camp out this weekend (gah, and people say they can't relate to me...):
Me: "What did ya'll do the first night?"
Busy Girl: "We had dinner and a flag burning."
Me: "Okaaaay..."
Busy Girl:"Yeah, it was a old flag and they showed us how to properly retire it."
Me: "Oh, I get it, now. For a minute, I thought Girl Scouts had changed since I was in it."
OK, you guys who joined Blingo with me need to get on the search stick and win us something. C'mon, Busy Mom needs an iPod...

Good morning! The blog convention sounded fun! What kind of sessions did they have?
Have a good day! Toni
You went to a blogging convention?
You're actually whoring for an ipod?
I need to quit blogging.
Wow, flag burning skills. Definitely one for the resume. :P Just kidding, I love the Girl Scouts although I never made it past Brownie.
I'm trying my darndest to win you something. I tend to burn up my 10 searches pretty quickly. I hate the weekends. The prizes are few and far between.
How many referrers do you have now?
Happy Belated Mother's Day :)
Girl Scouts - I must have missed the flag burning patch.
I am glad, though, that they are learning about flag etiquette!
Do they have a patch for flag burning?
You most certainly do need an iPod, I LOVE mine!!!!!
I'm starting to search for stupid stuff in the background all day long... is that wrong?
I thought that the girl scouts would've had some type of head shearing session before the flag burning ;) Sounds like everyone had a good weekend, and that's nice. Great blog, and I'm sure there are a lot of people who relate to what you write.
so wait, you're telling me I'm supposed to search stuff with Blingo? Ohhh I'm on it! I love searching random things :)
Happy belated mother's day lady...I just got back to a computer and town today.
Satellite radio AND an ipod? You must have happy, happy feet.
Blogging party? What is that all about?
So, what's next? ;)

Happy Belated Mother's Day! Hope you had a good one. Sounds like you did!
Also...I don't think you're one of the 12 worst. I think they have that pyramid upside down.
Don't you hate it when people assume all you write about is your kids??? As if that's all we are is moms!
Hey, I understood what kind of flag burning you were talking about. I've been through that with my church youth group camp. It's a very solomn ceremony.
