On Wal-Mart and accidental death

Oh, my. Just read that a large Wal Mart is going to be built very near my house by the Space Available Mall. Might not be the end of the world, but dammit, it was supposed to be a Target.

In other news, the kids found a large lizard in the garden. They lobbied to be able to keep him. They found him a bucket to live in and a name. This afternoon? They found him only a tail. We forgot about the cats. Just thought I'd share. I asked Busy Girl if Busy Boy was upset. She replies, "Nah, I don't think so. He's outside running around, I'll go ask him."

Next, your kids will want to eat at Busy Wal-Mart food court. Fine dining, indeed.

My daughter thought Weiner-World was a Wolfgang Puck establishment.

Busy Boy makes me laugh--when we told our boys that Uncle Paul (who was 83 and in poor health) had died, my two year old said, 'That's so sad.' His four-year-old brother said, 'Uncle Paul died. Okay. Do we have any green play doh? I want to make a snake.'

And that was that.

The same thing is happening around the corner from me. Argh. Luckily, there is already a Target in the same shopping center...but dammit, I was hoping for a Kohls.

That is just not fair. You already have a Wal-Mart relatively close by. I don't have either a Wal-Mart or a Target very close to my house.

Just what the world needs: another Wal-mart. Not. If you sell quickly you might still get half the value from your home.

LMAO. Damn your kids are funny.

LOL! Reading about your kids running around in the yard makes me want a house with a yard. Maybe when Bry gets old enough to need his own room and we have to find a two bedroom place, we can find a house with a yard! :)

*cracks up*

Poor lizard.

I'd hate to see that hair ball!
~K!

Once again proving the supposed "experts" wrong about children accepting death. They just do.

As for Target? Bah! I HATE my local SuperTarget. I would give my right arm for a SuperWalmart to be built by me. (Alas all my hoity toity neighborhoods vote them down even though they are fighting tooth and nail to build!).

Oh dear!

I thought of you when I was at WalMart last week and spied an expanse of colorful plastic dinnerware!

So - what was Busy Boy's answer?
Maybe the Wallmart will result in the addition of an Uber Target close by, they tend to come in pairs.

Oh that's so funny about the poor lizard!

I was in my kitchen the other day... when I saw something out the window...

There was my kitten (almost cat) with a poor little bunny in his mouth! I ran outside and tried to save the bunny. But it was too late....

Oh about Walmart...
We have to drive an hour to get to Walmart... one way!!!

But, we're out here in a little country town of maybe 600 people in the middle of... well... nothing much!

A wal-mart in your backyard... I'm sooo sorry

Aww, poor little itty bitty lizard. LOL, what a way to go..

Oh, I'd much rather have a Target, too.

I just heard about the Wal-mart too that's going up in that neck of the woods - too bad they can't just take out the mall and put it in there...

I'm so upset that we aren't getting that Target in our neck of the woods. Closer to my house (read, across the freaking street!) in our neck of the woods, the land planners of our fair city have decided that forestry just doesn't hold a candle to a brand new Publix...a MILE away from a Kroger!
