Remember the lizard I thought we had accidentally served up to the cats? Seems he's alive and mostly well, though he is sans tail and a foot. "Little Moe" is once again living in the silver bucket, but inside the house for the moment.
Oh, I can't believe I almost forgot this one: the other day, Busy Boy came running into the house with his hands behind his back. "Guess what?" coming from him can be cause for alarm, but I was engrossed in blogging some project and was a little distracted.
Busy Boy: "Bet you can't guess what I have?"
Me: "Hmm...I don't know."
Busy Boy: "I'll give you one guess, here's a hint, it's cute."
Me: "A bug? I don't know, I give up."
Busy Boy (brings his hand to the front):" A rabbit!!"
Yep, he caught a bunny. I listened carefully, and no, it didn't say dirty words so it wasn't this one.

Oh my a bunny! What did you do with it?
I saw a rabbit running across the pasture outside our house this morning. Want another?
Rabbits are kinda useless unless your lizard likes rabbit stew.
(Their dung drops are kind of interesting, though. I don't know if any two are alike.)
Was it Harvey? Yes, this is a test.
Bunny: "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way"
Wow, that's pretty clever to catch a bunny! What fun!
Wow! A lizard and now a bunny! Now if you can get Busy Girl to round up a zebra, you could open yourself a little zoo and make money! ;)
You can send Busy Boy this way, he'd be able to catch rabbits, gophers, groundhogs...all kinds of wildlife.
Maybe he could catch that baby bunny that's been mocking me by eating my garden. I haven't the heart to chase it away. It's too cute.
How cute!!! Did you make him put it back?? I would have wanted to keep it.
I know the tail will grow back on the lizard, but how about the foot?
Wow...they run pretty fast to be able to catch one!
Wow, catching a rabbit is pretty impressive. Mine is all about frogs...I think I like bunnies better!
Wile E Coyote
Good for him.
~K!
What a lovely site you have. And now a rabbit! LOL!
Sam
Blazing Star sounds like the perfect name for that rabbit! :-) Long story on the name ... I'll have to blog about it later. Anyhow, looks like you got yourself a new family member!
Sounds like you'll have a Busy Zoo for the summer!
Pets kept me sane as a child- my mother was not exactly gifted in the mommy area but she did let us haul in any animal we wanted and we hauled in plenty. Healthy families have pets! Maybe also allergies but they have pets!
