We are taking back the night from our wayward appliances. OK, Busy Dad is and I'm watching, but whatever. He has fixed the dryer and it involved a spatula, a butter knife and a stack of cookbooks. He only had 2 screws leftover. Next up, he's gonna break into the dishwasher using the torx bits I picked up at Home Depot even though I swore I would never go back. I had to find them my own self and they didn't even have hot dogs.
As for my pretty pink nails, I've run into an issue. Only a couple of you noticed that I said most of my nails were Pink Freeze. When I went on my polish spree (no, not a Polish spree), I painted each nail a different color whilst trying to decide what to buy. I did this without regard to the fact I didn't have nail polish remover in my desk at work. So, I have been walking around with most nails different colors with the intention of removing it when I got home. Only now? We have no nail polish remover and I still have the nails of a 6 year old girl.
While I still love my new polish, apparently, it cost me an opportunity to indulge in two of my favorite passions. It's well documented (trust me, it is, I don't feel like looking it up right now) that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE drug toys (the pharmaceutical rep give-aways, not what you're thinking) and I love totebags even more. Apparently, while I was galavanting around CVS looking for nail polish there was a seminar that I could have crashed where there were giving away drug toy tote bags. DID YOU HEAR THAT? Two of my favorite things in ONE object for FREE and I missed it. Oh, well, at least my nails are will be Pink Freeze and I won't have a care in the world. But, I sure wish I had gotten a drug toy totebag in which to carry my new Pink Freeze.

I love drug rep toys! I used to work in a clinic, so I got so many of them, it was fantastic.
Um... what are drug toys?
So sorry about the totebag. See? That nail polish causes nothing but trouble! But...if you insist on buying it, I hear they have both nail polish AND totebags at Target. Mmmm, Taarrgeet....
Oh, that's so sad you missed out! I love it when Greg brings home toys from HIMM and other medical conventions.
okay, so you answered the "most" part of the question. I'm still concerned about the melting portion. ;)

I'm with Mary Jo--what are 'drug toys'? My husband is a hospital administrator, and while he scores very frequent free and fabulous catered lunches from the drug reps, all he ever brings home are notepads. So now you have me thinking that he's hoarding toys and totes in his office . . .
I should visit him more at work, I think.
Mr. Belle is a drug rep. We have n upstairs full of toys. Whatcha want? Pens? Cups? Paperweight? Something cool?
Painting each nail a different color to decide which to go with can be helpful, or not: I did that, and then asked my kids which color they preferred, and they answered, "Just keep 'em like that! That's how we like it!!" I went with the Dusty Rose, ne'ertheless.
