Buyer's remorse

Have you ever bid on something from e-bay, regretted it immensely, but you weren't too worried about it since, surely, you wouldn't win it and then you won it? And then, you mistakenly paid for it not once, but twice? Me neither.

Negative Captain, me either BM.

Cheers.

I'm assuming it was a bag?

Yeah - not ebay, but bidz.com. Bought a ring I didn't really like, but I was the lucky bidder! I only paid for it once though!

Ah, yes. I buy way too much on ebay. Some I am happy with and some is just crap that I immediatly regret. Like that football helmet grill dealie that I thought would be SO cute for tailgating...

Sounds like you've started Christmas shopping early!

We need the link to the item you didn't do this on.

:-)

Never! (Does it count if my toes are crossed?)

Haven't had that experience - yet.

More often than I care to discuss!! Have you ever "REALLY" wanted an item, and bid on two different ones, hoping to just maybe be "lucky" enough to win one, and won BOTH of them?? hmmm... me either

Oh man... Right now (literally) I'm thankful that I AM losing a bid. (Whew). And I'm thinking "someone else bid on that other one cuz I don't want it anymore").

LOL.

(But paying twice? Heck no.)

Okay, I'll admit it. I accidentally bought a camera, but when I confessed to my neighbor he said not to worry because he just bought a MERCEDES! I felt much better!

Well, I have the highest bid on something at e-bay right now. Kind of hoping someone else will bid, but it's only got a few more hours. Oh well, it will get used here, I just don't really need to spend the money.

all but the paying for it twice.
it was a ring...I changed my mind...was sure I was gonna be outbid.
nope, everyone else was probably linking to it saying "look at what this loser is bidding on"
I'm wearing the ring right now..
I am such a loser.

That made me laugh out loud. Not AT you, of course. WITH you. ;)

That just couldn't happen. Could it? It did? To whom? Say it ain't so...

Once bid on something on ebay, regretted it, was out bid and all happy to be outbid when the seller cancelled the higher bidder's bid for lack of feedback. Which not only made me the highest bidder but at the higher amt!

We bought our VW Eurovan Camper on E-bay. How crazy was that? Believe it or not, it actually worked out.

Every time I make a purchase for me, I think I have buyer's remorse. Oh, hey, we are home, by the way.

Now I need to know what your bought!

Tell me it wasn't the bag!?! - Couldn't be, you were happy at getting the bag..it must be something much different..a sock monkey?

Let's see it!!

And for that reason, I stay away from Ebay.

I can't ebay anymore. Garage sales though - I'm all over it.

LOL, too many times to count. I need to take a pic of my Liz bag and send to you. It's called the photo bag.

Is that sorta like buying a pair of really cheap clog-style shoes, only to find out that they're slippers when you open the box and realise that you've paid $14.00 US for a pair of cheap felt clog slippers that make your feet sweat and stink?

No? Didn't think so.

That is something that would so happen to me.

ebay is EVIL. ;)

Nope, I stay far, far away.

I have a large amount of clothes I bought on the 'net. Some on Ebay. Can you guess who has never worn them because THEY DONT FIT?

Bwahahahahahaha!! Sorry, I couldn't help it!

Lol no, but I have dreamt about it! Lol and actually dreamt about it again after reading this lol!

I "accidentally" bought a guitar on ebay. I don't regret it but my wife does.

Nope! *cough cough sputter sputter.

Ok, I've managed to resist this Ebay thing...the closest I've come to falling is when I read that Jenny Cruisie book with the Running Egg Cups in it (yes, they're all over Ebay!)...but now I think I'll continue to stay away!

Hi Busy Mom...been running in circles so much, it's been a while since I've made it by!

I'm always scared of bidding on ebay because I'm worried I'll win. Weird, I know.

PLEASE! I just DID! I bid on - yes a purse - knowing my bid was too low and I would NEVER win it, then saw a similar one at a "buy it now" price - double the other bag but a sure win right? Since I would NEVER win the other bid.

Guess who has TWO Charges on her credit card now?
