Sunday, June 26
I'm here, I'm here!

I have just had absolutely nothing to say. Yes, I know that hasn't stopped me for the past two and a half years, but, uh, whatever...

We've had a nice weekend. On Friday night, the Lo's (D-Lo and C-Lo, say "hey" to all these nice folks if you're out there) invited us over for dinner and it was a blast. Had some adult conversation and the kids would have played outside all night if we had let them. Seems the young Lo children (that would be E-Lo and J-Lo) are enthralled with Busy Boy and Busy Boy is loving every minute of his rock star status.

We just hung out on Saturday, did the usual hunter-gatherer thing at Home Depot and the grocery. Took the kids out to eat and to see Madagascar, (All hail the New York Giants!) It was pretty funny, though I would like to have seen much more of the monkeys.

Today has been more hanging out. Too bad the dishwasher didn't see fit to just relax, as it is now leaking about 2 beach towels worth of water which is up from 1 dish towel. Busy Boy had a baseball game and I cleaned out the Busy Van, even cleaned the rugs. You know, come to think of it, the kids haven't been all that relaxing. I am raising 3 pretty intense kids, but today they've been themselves amplified, or something. "Mama...Mama...Mama...Mama...Mama...Mama..." I think I am going to change my name. Right now, they are all outside swimming, why yes I realize it's almost 10:30, you'll have to speak to their father about this one. At least they'll sleep well. If not, there's always Benadryl. Or, I could give them some Benadryl.

I went to load our dishwasher yesterday and it seems the door was sprung or something. One side didn't want to raise and close. The only conslusion we have is that one of the horde was getting a glass out and put their weight on it.

I am asking for some forensics team to come to the house and tell me which one did it. Those things are so expensive that someone is gonna pay..... muaahhhaaaa....

Don't throw the baby out with the dishwater.

Sue me for poor metaphors. Monday.

"Mama" isn't your name, hon. It's your official job title.
Yeah, CEO sounds much cooler, but it's harder to get fired from this job.

Or you could always take the Benadryl yourself.. and they can call you whatever they want!

I hope you finally got some sleep last night!

Benendryl works wonders ;-)

"Waiter, one round of Ambien over here please."

My father-in-law says I should keep saying "Papa" so that my baby's first word will be that. He says I'll have years and years of "Mama, Mama," so why not let Hubby get frazzled by it, too?

Or, you could just take some Benadryl yourself!!

I actually find Dramamine much more effective than Benadryl. Of course, it's hard to come up with a reason to give it to a child in a stationary bed. "Seasonal allergies," on the other hand, are a wonderful catch-all drug excuse.
