Pink is the new gray

Busy Boy is colorblind, we've known it for some time and, for the most part it's no big deal. Actually, I think The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby is too. Anyway, during a conversation this evening it came to light that the color gray looks pink to him (this was new to us since his problem colors are mostly brown and green). Yes, the poor kid thought his football shirt, his football helmet and his baseball pants were pink and he has never once said a word about it.

OmGoodness... that is too funny. So how did you find out he thinks they are pink?

My husband's parents realized he was color blind when their little Philadelphia fan drew a sports collage--with a Phillie in green and an Eagle in red.

So what are you saying? Your blog isn't pink?

My hubby is severely color blind. My daughter and I always say we are seeing eye dogs for the color blind!

That's so funny and cute! It must be good to know you have a son so secure he didn't even complain about a pink uniform.

Hehe, he's going 2B a Fashion Star BM.

Cheers.

Oh that is precious...I am betting that when he first got them he was wondering why they chose pink

BLESS his heart!!

He's a real trooper! Pink? Eeeww! I did have a pink dress shirt that I wore to work. But pastels were big for a short time. I have since retired it.

Oh, now I know for sure that I totally love Busy Boy. How do you feel about arranged marriages? I do have a daughter who would be thrilled to be with someone who sees so much pink in their life and ACCEPTS it!

Your son is a good sport. And a talented one, too.

I'm sure that, secretly, he's breathing a sigh of relief. ;)

Maybe he likes pink? It is okay to like pink!

Lavender often gives off a grey cast, so it doesn't surprise me that grey could be mistaken for pink, particularly if it's a pale-ish sort of grey.

Right?

Oh, poor boy! LOL What a trooper, not complaining he was wearing 'pink'!

What a guy! He doesn't let a little thing like the colour of his uniform affect him :)

My husband is a bit colorblind and thinks purple is brown. Does he do that, too?

Ha ha ha.Tell him manly men wear pink.lol

Awww... Poor Busy Boy wearing "pink!"

That's great. Reminds me of a conversation we had at work. Someone told me that green was the new pink. I countered that I thought pink was the new black. So it turns out, green is, logically, the new black. Ok, really, the conversations was funnier than that. Oh, I'll just go away....

That is pretty darn funny. Oh and just yesterday my neighbor was commenting the new brown streaks in my hair. You should have seen his face when I told him that those streaks were actually vibrant purple.
