Tree pictures

Here's a few pictures of the tree incident (the first one is the view outside my back door on Friday morning! The second one is everyone saying, "Wow, that's a shame."):

Yikes! That is one massive tree! Does this mean Busy Van II is totalled? I am so sorry you had to go through all of that!

Good lord, woman! That's quite a tree.

But you've got some great looking kids there--I especially love the boys' haircuts (we have the same ones at our house).

We've procrastinated on trimming the way-too-big trees in our back yard for years. We always say we are going to do it and remove the ones closest to the house, but we never actually do it. I think I'm calling for an estimate tomorrow!

Buh-bye big tree! YIkes!

Pic 2: Talk about your knights in shining armor!

OUCH--the poor van. I'm just glad that no one was in it!

I am so freaked out that our two huge maple trees will someday fall on our house..they would land right into Tony's room.

We do have a ring of concrete blocks filled with gravel and dirt around the base of the trees about three feet high, and that helps some; but trees that big and powerful winds that we are capable of getting, those trees could do a lot of damage.

I'm sooo glad that none of you were hurt when that tree came tumbling down! Are you sure those firefighters don't moonlight for the road repair crews?

Tree incident? More like tree Implosion.

Glad 2CU and your crew weren't hurt BM.

OMG!

I'm so glad that you are all ok. The van on the other hand has seen better days. I'm so glad that it was a thing though and once again that all the Busy's are ok.

I guess I should replace the Busy Van's 'Get Well Soon' card with a 'Sympathy' card.

Yikes! I go away for our weeks vacation- swimming in hurricane Dennis debris in the gulf- and come back to sticks in my yard! So sorry.

Crap!What a massive tree.

Ouch. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Those pictures are bringing back painful memories! I'm so glad no one was hurt.

So glad that you all are ok!!!

Is that a camera in Busy Girl's hand? Like Busy Mother, like Busy Daughter, I guess...

Holy Tree-thwacked van, Busy Mom!
What a nightmare.
Glad to know no-one was hurt.
Yikes.

The Kitchen Table

I am amazed by how quickly you got it cleaned up and repairs going - Busy Mom must have super powers! Hope you're enjoying some fun in the sun!

Uh, that's a shame.

Wow! I'm so sorry that happened to you!

OMG!! I'm so sorry! I hope the "aftermath" goes as smoothly as possible!

Unreal!

Very impressive!

Do you ever get the feeling someone is trying to tell you to buy a new van? ;)

Why was the one fireman glowing like that? Is he a superhero?

But seriously - what a mess! Again, so glad no one was hurt!

Oh, wow. I hope you are enjoying the vacation, though!

Daaaang! What an adventure... One you could have done without, I'm sure, but an adventure all the same! And *MY* what shiney firemen you have!!

Holy Guacamole...I mean...that's your car...the tree...thank gosh car empty...I mean...Holy Guacamole!

I've missed much while I was gone!

I'm glad you are all safe.
