OK, so it's not really a crime...

We went to a neighborhood pool with friends tonight. It was really crowded since there was a "Night Out Against Crime" celebration. I felt a little weird carrying a margarita around said celebration in my inconspicuous plastic cup. But not uneasy enough to pour it out.

Think of how uneasy you would have felt had you not had it!

I read this wrong the first time and thought you did pour out your drink. Now that would have been a crime...;-)

Just think of the margarita as a drink to toast the fact that your neighborhood actually cares!

I say, "Party On, Garth!" We also had NNO in our town and we celebrated with a good Pinot beforehand. Now THAT'S a National Night Out!

So nobody noticed the salt around the rim of your "7-UP" cup?

Cool celebration! We're making plans for ours next year already.

Oh, my, I sure do loves me some margaritas! MMMM-hmmm.

Hon, if you didn't fall in the pool, don't feel weird!

So, did you commit any crimes while you were out? ;)

Hey for all they know it could have been water in there. And why would anyone want to waste good alcohol by pouring it out. I would have kept it also. Hope the pool was fun, I was looking for one yesterday, but it seems our neighbors weren't asking. :(

mmmmm margarita. That sounds like a good dinner plan to me. :) Thanks Busy Mom

Wow, disrupting the huddle, drinking at the neighborhood night out--you're on a tear this week!

Sometimes you need a good margarita to stop those criminal urges. Or I should say, one needs....

I always worried that Night Out Against Crime was a ruse put on by criminals to get everyone out of the house for a few hours. Can you imagine if everyone came back from the pool to see they'd been burglarized? lol
