My head hurts too much to think of a title

I have had one serious headache all day. Ya'll gotta type more quietly, OK? Maybe it was the bourbon? He slept better last night, woke up at 5am, though.

To you kind people using my Amazon link over there ===> to do your shopping, thanks!! I get a few cents when you buy stuff through that link. And, since we have to get a new car, I may be paying it off cents at a time, anyway. Speaking of cars, I talked to the insurance company today and they are giving us a fairly decent amount for the defunct Busy Van II. Now, we just have to actually procure that money, get a bank loan and find a car. This is how it went when I called the insurance company to check on it yesterday:

Me: "I'm just calling to check on the status of my claim."
Claims rep: (Yadda, yadda, yadda) "...haven't gotten the report from the adjuster yet in order to value your car."
Me: "Can you tell me how long you would expect that to take? I really am in need of a car, especially before the kids go back to school here in a couple of weeks."
Claims rep: (Blah, blah, blah, yackety yack insurance-speak followed by a sudden "light-bulb" moment) "...ohhhh, so you need a car to get the kids to school?"
Me: "Uh, yeah. We're spoiled that way."
Claims rep: "Oooohh...Okaaayyy, I see..."

What? Like if I had said that earlier would she have connected me to the "But, She's Gotta Get the Kids to School Expedited Auto Claims " Department? Whatevah.

I wonder if Panera has butter to go with the big hunka bread they give you with a salad? I have never seen any nor have I heard anyone ask for any. I'd hate to expose myself as a bread yahoo since it is, afterall, "artisan" bread. I am such a foodie.

Mmmmm...I love Panera!!

Panera has butter. But you do have to ask (not that I ever do, but my father has no shame. At all. Thank goodness).

And now all I can think of is a big hunk of Panera bread . . .

Hope the car thing works out soon! Yikesaroony!

I love Panera, too, but I usually get the soup and salad 1/2 and 1/2 combo and just dunk the bread in the soup.

mmmmm Panera. Great food AND wi-fi. It doesn't get any better than that! I do the sunk in the soup thing, too. That tomato-basil soup is so yummy.

What were we talking about?

If you are using the term butter to mean butter or margarine, at our panera, there is always a basket it of it right by the place where you pick up your lunch from. I love Panera.. and its really close to Target!

Mmmmm...Panera. Yeah, my Panera has one basket of margarine and one of real butter right by the soda fountains.

I love the way you try to explain your heart-rending case to the agent on the phone. Inspiring in a way.

I thought they put all the butter IN the bread so you wouldn't see all the calories. But, what the heck, slather on some more....

Hi, just stopped by to say hello. I've been lurking, but trying to catch up with my hello's too today.

Panera will give you butter if you ask for it. It's kind of like certain restaurants that don't give you water unless you ask.

i lurrrrve me some Panera..

As far as I know, every insurance company has a "Pain in the Ass" department. At any given time during your claim process you can and will find yourself dealing with that department. Here's hoping they resolve this quickly.

I like butter on my bread - no matter what kind it is.

I'm sorry my headache moved to your town. I'm thinking of sending diarrhea next.

No need to thank me. I'm happy to serve.

I still can't BELIEVE the tree and the van and ... WOW.

We had trees fall around here, but nothing got hit. Well, except other trees. Lots of them. But nothing that is seriously serious. Hope all of the insurance hoops get satisfied for you!
