Here in central Ohio the lowest price I saw yesterday was $3.09. Highest $3.20.

Thank God I filled up Mon!

There's really no way they can go back to New Orleans now, right? No one is allowed back in...?? My friend did not fare so well; I'm quite sure his house and his mom's are under 20' of water...eeek. May send his 17-year old daughter to us for school...

Lowest I saw yesterday was 2.99 and highest was 3.19. Craazzzzzyyyy!! Ugh!

Vespa Scooters For Everyone!

Here in NJ regular was $2.99/gal by me last night. I fill up 3x's per week for my commute to work. At this rate, I'm going to have to start walking or something. I wonder if I'd get a ticket for riding my bicycle on the Garden State Parkway (a major highway here) - especially during peak commuting hours. Hmm...maybe I'd better get a helmet!

The Shell around the corner from me has regular unleaded--you know, 'cheap' gas--for $3.09. In Oklahoma. Where gas is cheap. Sigh.

And guess whose EMPTY light is on?

Michigan - at least $3.19 a gallon. I've heard of some stations charging closer to $3.50. They say we will hit $4 soon...

Indy was level at $3.19 this morning but I really don't expect it to stay there. If Congress doesn't impose price limits (yes, it's time to write) we're all in trouble.

I've seen $3.19 but I managed to fill up at $2.99 earlier today in Maryland. I wish they made 12 passenger electric vans.

OK, suddenly Wisconsin isn't the Utopia I thought it was. I paid $3.49 and I thought that was good. Gulp.

At least my house is standing and dry. Who am I to complain?

I just wish we had gas, period.

I agree with Emily. Yes, the rising price of gas sucks and it is totally unacceptable. HOWEVER, if you're comfortable enough to go to the grocery store to buy beer, perhaps you should think twice about complaining about the cost of gas, when so many Americans are searching for water, their loved ones, their homes, anything. Big picture.

Caroline just said what I wanted to say. Sucks to pay $3 a gallon but it REALLY sucks to have a baby die in your arms because of dehydration.

If the Dems have any spine, all they need to do in 2006 is show clips of the misery interspersed with quotes from fuckwits like Chertoff and Hastert with a tagline, "Why do Republicans hate America?"

This morning it was $3.38, for the low grade gas at the price whore gas station.

So I just stood there crying yesterday as I filled my tank. I do not know how I am going to make it. I can't afford this...
