It takes a village, or "Why we need a playbook"

My life is probably more busy than some and less busy than others, it really doesn't matter, but, our Thursday schedule amuses me, so I thought I'd share.

Players: 3 families, including ours.
1. The Busy Family: Busy Mom, Dad, Boy, Girl, The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby
2. Family A: Dad A, Mom A, Boy A (there are actually five other "A" kids as well, but that's not significant for our purposes)
3. Family B: Mom B, Dad B, Girl B, Boy B (kids the same age as older Busy kids)

Game Plan:
a. Busy Dad leaves school goes to kids school to coach Busy Girl and Girl A's volleyball team after school.

b. Before practice, Busy Dad must meet kids in the parking lot to gather backpacks from Busy Girl, Busy Boy, Girl B and Boy B (this is necessary later)

c. Mom A picks up Boy A, Boy B and Busy Boy and they go home with her and then to soccer practice at soccer venue 1.

Uh, you lost me...

As for New Orleans Friend, I hope she and her family are alright. I have family near Galvaston (sp?) and they are having a horrible time evacuating.

hence, the name BUSY MOM! more like Busy Freaks! hahahaha! And I thought I was busy with evacuating and re-vacuating. fat chance! Busy Mom, I think I'd rather be in my shoes tomorrow! wait!.. "HUNKER DOWN!" CHUG 2!!! If anyone has any hurricane questions, feel free to speak up; I'm a pro by now for sure! We got the goods on eye walls, milibars, dirty water & clean water (and no, it has nothing to do with what comes out of the faucet!), storm surge, AND OH SO MUCH MORE! all free for the asking! ; )

I'm feeling dizzy. Or was that bizzy. It's just all too much! Thank God I only have one child.

You have earned your name:busymom.net!

NOW I know why my 2 kids are 10 years apart! By the time #2 really got involved with stuff, #1 was driving himself where he needed to be.

That was my life 15 years ago! Bless your heart.

No wonder I'm so tired now... I must confess, there are times I miss it, but then I snap back to my senses!

Have fun with your playbook! =D and good luck!

Good luck to your new orleans friends, as well... I hope they stay safe. :-\ I have family in T e x a s. (it won't let me post that word. o.O)

I must say my Monday's and Wednedays are much the same. Thank goodness for friends who share the load and teenagers that drive!(will be praying for N.O. friends)

Whoever figured out this schedule should be handling the logistics for FEMA. Brilliant.

WOW! And you don't lose any of them??

Whew! You lost me...plus, i was too busy driving to and from basically the same location 5(FIVE) times between 2 and 7pm last night...20 minute drive each way...hubbie is out of town so I'm the sole bus service. KFC for dinner in between :) Today, rinse and repeat.

The real problem is Family A and those six kids.

*Whew*
Lets have a glass of wine!

"I never could get the hang of Thursdays" -Arther Dent from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

How long did it take to figure out that mind boggling schedule? I think I'd need a color coded illustration.

YIKES!! That's one thing I'm not looking forward to as Pookie gets older.

Good Grief! I was lost after the second paragraph!

Oh my!

I'm sure that if you would put it into an algabraic formula, everthing would add up.

Dang woman, how do you keep up? I thought my schedule was hectic!
