Happy CB Day!

You know you are old when you keep thinking, "...good buddy", when you write today's date: 10-4. We got us a convoy.

(Oh, and don't forget Dine for America tomorrow)

when I got to work this morning my coworker informed me today was "good buddy day". I didn't get it until about 11:00. I guess that means I AM REALLY OLD!!

Maybe we shoudl find out what all the days in October will be, so we know what days the police will be giving out their pink gift certificates.

Didn't know about the Dine for America bit... thanks for the info - I personally appreciate the effort and will dine for America tomorrow night! As one who has benefitted from those most generous with their contributions, I will make one myself! : )

Bless you New Orleans Friend! (OK, I know a lot of you bloggers don't like this phrase) but I mean it sincerely. I'm am also from the Nashville area and your welcome back to our "neck of the woods" anytime. If BM and family won't take you in let me know and we will. HeHe!! I hope things are working out for you guys and know you are thoughts daily. It's a good excuse to go dining tomorrow -- huh!!

Whoo wee - now THERE'S a classic song for ya! Drop in the 8-track and let's jam!

OMG, I heard "Convoy" on the radio the other day. I was about 14 when the CB radio craze hit and that song came out. I had a CB, too. Oh my, I suddenly feel very old!

10-40 breaker, breaker... just don't start singing The Streak on us now too! :)

OK, but how many of you have actually had a "handle"? I did in the 70s...mine was "Baby Dumpling." Breaker one-nine.....
