All Nogged Out

Hi, there. I'm back from my trip to The Land of Horked Up Websites just in time for the Friday edition of "My Kids Don't Have School in October." Today was also Parent Teacher conferences and I'm pleased to report that everyone is doing very well in school. We are lucky that Busy Boy has a teacher who "gets" him as he is mo' definitely his "own person".

I was lucky enough to be invited to the local blogger meet-up last night, I had so much fun! I wish I'd had a chance to talk to everyone there, but, I am definitely sitting with Aunt B. and Sarcastro at the next one. However, getting hit on by Paul was lots of fun, too, as well as confirming I'm not as anonymous to BobKrumm (it just needs to be one word) as I thought I was. A very "Happy Birthday" to Brittney and I enjoyed talking to Blake, Chris, Pink Kitty, Dana, and Big Orange Michael as well. Many thanks to our host, Mr. Roboto for the swag from the back of his car, I'm gunning for a Rex Hammock University (our esteemed sponsor) shirt next time. When I arrived, I asked the hostess where the group was, and she asked me if I was with the "noggers". Heh.

The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby and I are home partying like rock stars. I am already in my pajamas and eating a leftover taco, The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby has finished off a jar of pickles and it wanting go play outside in nothing but his underwear. The rest of the family is out of town and will be back tomorrow. Hold us back.

Love tacos. Love pickies. Love playing outside in nothing but my underwear...hey, sounds like my kind of party...

oops, meant "pickles", not "pickies"...the latter sounds a bit gross...

Glad you are back. Rock on with your taco and pickle dinner. Beaux and I had hotdogs at the halloween carnival, so we are rock stars tonight as well!

If he's been eating pickles, it might be better if he's outside in his underwear. If you know what I mean.

That blogger party sounds awesome, that is so cool. Maybe I shouuld get one of those going here.

isn't *noggers* politically incorrect? I'd sue if I were you.

Tacos ... Yum! You're making me hungry!

Sounds like you had fun! I would love to go to a blogger (or nogger! LOL!) meet. It would be so neat!

Busy, I'll check and see if we have anymore of the "University" T-Shirts. However, our "2006" edition is coming out shortly and I'll make sure you get one.

Gosh I envy you! I have been working on our Fall Festival. Thank God it's tomorrow and it will be done and I can take a break from some of these people! We're out next Friday. I don't think I will even bother to get out of my pajamas in the first place! And tacos sound perfect!

Well ain't you got fun... Too bad you can't stay home all the time, if Preschooler is that much fun.

Sounds like you and the Preschooler had a great time bonding.

Have a nice rest of the weekend!

I have often found myself partying with my four-year-old daughter and just didn't realize it; until I read your post.

As a teacher, I am always glad to hear that a student has found a teacher who understands them. It really is important to us too.

At least neither of you will end up with a hangover. *sigh* shhhhh!

you went to a blopper party? way cool!

How did I miss this? I would have loved to come... let me know if they do another one.
