Take a nap. Works for me.

Jealousy is seeping from my ears.

mmmm- I love that place! Did you find that the lunch was as awesome as the cheesecake - I eat so much lunch I have to take the cheesecake to go.
Notice I don't go without cheesecake.

A virgin cheesecaker????? NO WAY!!! How have you lived this long without partaking????

dude. we 'went' there once. but it was a 2.5 hour wait. WTF!!!!!!!!!!! is it worth that much of a wait? of course, we turned right around and went to chilis.

We have one of those next to the office. I went there for lunch not long ago and thought I was being good ordering a Caesar salad. When it came it was about a foot and a half tall and, although I kept eating, it didn't get any smaller.

Love the place, worth the wait if it's attached to a mall and you can get a pager then shop! I've got to travel to visit one - I consider it part of the vacation!

You live near a Cheesecake Factory?! So jealous! I too must travel to eat at one, and yes, I find it well worth the wait (but I've always been able to shop/browse while waiting). Mmmm, sweet corn tamale cakes. Love those!

I was going to ask about the crowd also. I heard when they first opened the lines and wait was very long. Maybe lunch midweek isn't so bad, huh? I can't wait to try it.

You tease! Tell us how full you are and not mention what KIND of cheesecake you had. When we go I always tell myself I'm going to try a new slice but always end up getting the Chocolate Tuxedo. To. Die. For! :-O

Haha. Cheesecake is great isn't it? The only gripe I have about that place is that they charge for the birthday cheesecake. =T.

Yay for Cheesecake Factory! It ranks up there with PF Changs for me.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I've gotta ask..how long did you have to wait to be seated? Was it worth the wait? What kind of cheesecake did you eat? mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..cheesecake

Not only do they give you a TON of food, why in the world is the menu 50 pages long!??! But I love it! One good tip: eat the cheesecake first; I am always too full after my meal.

I have mad love for that place. Only went there once and got so very stuffed. Next time I go, I'm forgoing the lunch/dinner and just getting appetizers and cake.

Am making your famous Lemon Chicken Pasta for dinner. Yes, you get to claim it now. The kids are all, "YUM!!"

I'll have one of each cheesecakes please. thank you.

You actually ate the food there - LOL I have never tasted the food, I always just go straight to the cheesecake. Who can even think about food if there is cheesecake anywhere in a 10 mile vicinity?!!!!

Glad you enjoyed yourself.

Ah, we just got one last year. Nothing better than food bigger than your head. I once made the mistake of ordering the pot pie. Don't. It's larger than a pizza...seriously.

I don't think we have one in my neck of the woods. I'll have to visit one while traveling.

Oh yum! I love that place.

BTW, I had the gingerbread latte at SB and was totally disappointed. It however may have been the bartista although I am not sure she deserved that title. She was awful. A newbie and well 15 minutes after I ordered I got it. It stunk!

Sounds so nice. Real food for lunch. I had the last piece (finally)of pumpkin pie for lunch. So that I could wash the pie plate.

How long did you have to wait? I have been wanting to go, but I have heard the wait is really bad!

Wait, what is your lemon chicken pasta?? Must know now! And about the Factory, how about the mashed potato omelette??? *Mopping drool off of keyboard*

In Dallas by the Galleria there is a restaurant called The Grande Luxe. It is owned by Cheesecake Factory and they bake their desserts "made-to-order" - it is Deliciousness to the power of 10.

The food is similar - HUGE PORTIONS, and the variety is also just as overwhelming as TCF. I recommend going and getting the Buffalo Chicken wraps for an appetizer and the pasta fresca for a delicous pasta dish that is full of fresh vegetables and fresh tastes.

Now I am hungry.

I live not far from one outside Dallas. I get a small salad then LOTS of cheesecake.
I'm drooling.

We've found the secret to going there is to arrive at about 3:30. Then the wait is a mere 30 minutes. Would we wait 30 minutes ANYWHERE else? Hell no!

I've got some seriously cheesecake-addicted children.

I love that place!

Hey..I was right there with you at the Cheesecake Factory on Wednesday...had to roll myself back to work! Almost had to clothes the door and take a nap...bites of 3 different cheesecakes will do that to ya!
