Procrastination paralysisEeep! The race is on. It's the last day that I can Christmas without the kids and I have no idea how long my mother will be hospitalized, so, I'm finishing Christmas stuff today. I've made my list, checked it twice, and now I'm reading blogs.
Recent Entries on Busymom.net:
- Dorm room planning, or not quite a college mom blog
- Summer's here
- Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie and Renfest
- Sing. Fly. Mate. Die.
- What do cicadas sound like?

I'm forever indebted to whoever invented procrastination.
Happy Shopping. Or should I say "I wish you Successful Shopping" I'd be reading blogs in your situation too.
Get to the shopping!!
I'm sorry to hear about your mom being hospitalized again. Many hugs!!
Don't sweat it too much, Busy Mom! What gets done, gets done, and what doesn't won't ruin Christmas--remember what it's all REALLY about!
I thought I had 2 more school days to finish up my stuff, but my daughter's home sick today and I'm not confident she'll be better by tomorrow. So I'm working from home--and reading blogs, too. Only a few select ones, of course. ;-)
Oh, chaos always seems to happen during the holidays, doesn't it? I'll be scrambling at Green Hills Mall this afternoon before we head to my parents' house this weekend. Maybe I'll see you there... :)
On the bright side it seems from what I found while procrastinating on weather.com that the icy precipitation we have in VA isn't garnishing your sandwich in TN!
I was going to "finish" today too but I'm blaming the ugly weather as my excuse not to. Cool Springs mall will still be there tomorrow - even next week I suppose.
Hope your mom is feeling better and can be home for Christmas.
At least you have your priorities straight.....mom, blogs, kids. LOL!
I found the Discovery Channel Store to be an excellent place to get stuff for EVERYONE in one swoop. Course, I think your kids will be home any minute so this advice may not be as helpful as it would have been 6 hours ago.
I haven't even finished making my lists and I'm sitting here reading blogs!
Never do more than the year before, expectations will be set higher for the next year if you do.
