Note to selfSelf,
Your freezer is full. It is really, really full. You have passed the "it'll fit somewhere" threshold. Seriously, it won't fit.
Stop buying frozen things. Now.
I mean it,

Kids are home for 2 weeks, it will vanish in no time!
LOL! It happens here all the time! Fortunately, with as cold as it has been lately, I just have to stick the cold stuff on the deck and VOLIA! insta-freeze!
I agree with JL. Keep buying, everything will be gone really fast. Or else you can buy a freezer.
Even with just Kennedi and I in our house, I have the same problem!!
Or you ould start cooking. ;)
hah! Crystal ~ meany two-pants! Don't bring up that nasty C word... I know the feeling though, it gets right around sept, kids head off to school, and that's when it hits... I start buying frozen staples in anticipation of actually cooking casseroles, crockpots, tamales, etc..... then that awful *PTO President* thingy happens, and once again, I am ensconced in school events, with no end in sight... but I still dream,, so the freezer still fills up... it's getting pretty bad, lately, ~ now I have a nice side by side AND the big huge upright freezer in the laundry room.... oohh, the guilt... half the stuff is frosted into place.. cant be removed unless the whole freezer gets defrosted... oohh the guilt, the GUILT!
Since I am the one who goes grocery shopping, I get that all the time when I get home. I should just have one of those cooler/freezer combinations that they have at convenience stores, then I could get more! :-)
I recommend getting another freezer - try the appliance outlet store on Thompson Lane, that's where I'm going!
What'd ya put in the freezer? I'm still pondering what Christmas dinner should be...
Also - How cold is it outside there? My screen porch doubles as a fridge/freezer during the holidays it's great!
My note to self should say, "you might want to go ahead and wrap the presents, rather than continue to pile them on top of each other in your closet and pretend they're not really there."
At least you don't have to buy food. Make it a game and see how long you can go without going to the grocery store. Of course if you are like me, by the time you actually dig it out of the freezer you find that's not what you wanted to eat.
Then comes the question "Why did I buy this?"
Merry Christmas, busymom!! hope you have a wonderful weekend!!
I'll be over to help you make room! No, it's ok. I really don't mind.
Merry everyhing, BM! Hope the season is treating you well. :-)
I have to have my parents bring over their portable refrigerator because my fridge is so full! Critter almost got a concussion dodging foodstuffs as he tried to get a carton of milk out last night. LOL.
Sorry, you can't use my freezer either. Damn Crockpot recipes.
Um, when I started feeding the dogs a raw diet, I got a big ol' EXTRA freezer. Now it is crammed full, too! There is no escape.
Merry Christmas sweetie!
Ooh, I have lots of things in the upright freezer in the fridge. But I can't identify any of it, cause it's an old freezer that one has to be manually defrosted. A task I never do. Consequently my freezer holds mounds of packages glazed in months of ice. This is what happens when you kind of forget that you've stashed things in the garage freezer. Yeeek.
“You are tagged” see my blog.
Yep...been there, done that...currently don't know why I bought some of the things in there
Aw, give it a good meal or two and you will have that thing half empty again!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
