Four Real, Ya'll

Dewayne tagged me for this one:

Four jobs you’ve had in your life: Snack bar operator at a department store warehouse (I cooked 90 pounds of hotdogs one Saturday morning), Child and Adolescent Mental Health Worker, Camp Nurse, Department Store clerk (boy, did I suck at that one!)

Four movies you could watch over and over: I have kids, are you sure you don't mean four movies that I have to watch over and over? Superman, The Incredibles, Sinbad and Zorro.

Four TV shows you love to watch: (see above) If I did get to watch TV, I'd watch: The West Wing, Desperate Housewives, What Not to Wear and the Brady Bunch

Four places you’ve been on vacation: Litchfield Beach, SC; Destin, FL, Mercer, WI and Nassau, Bahamas.

Four websites you visit daily: Mullets Galore, The Condiment Packet Museum, The Big 'Ol Black Table Beer Run and Socks and Sandals 4Ever.

Four of your favorite foods: real chocolate pie (not stuff made with pudding, however, I would eat that if you gave it to me), beef tenderloin, more beef tenderloin and panna cotta.

Four places you’d rather be: at home (am at the hospital with my mother at this writing), at the beach, the outlet mall or your house for coffee

Four albums you can’t live without: I think I'm probably one of the only ones around here old enough to remember actual "albums", but anyway: Barenaked Ladies "Rock Spectacle", "Best of Van Morrison", Billy Joel "The Stranger" and Jimmy Buffett "Songs You Know by Heart".

Four people you’d tag to play this game: You, you, you and you. Don't let me down.

You resorted to this:

Okay 1,2,3,4 - spin the bottle, who's gonna score? I just made that up.

Okay, I buy that you visit the Mullet Museum site daily. (I would, too.) But the condiment packet museum site? Hmmmmm.

I put the Socks & Sandals on auto scroll and it was like a bad movie. I think some of those people need to go on "What Not To Wear!"

Ummm, nope you're not the only one that remembers "albums". Matter of fact, I still have some! Don't have anything to play them on though. :)

I vacation at Litchfield too. Since you mentioned it I'm really craving some Lee's Kitchen now.

You are right, the question should read four movies you have to watch over and over again. :)

i might actually do this one. We'll see. That's now two memes on my list of memes to do!

So many people make this mistake - albums are printed collections of musical compositions, pictures, or literary selections. - hence "photo albums". CD's are albums, as are cassettes, not just vinyl.

I worked at a music store for many years, and this was one of my pet peeves.

I'm so glad you loved The Incredibles. Such a great film. I think I actually cried while watching it.

I'm thinking of you and your mom this weekend and keeping you all in my prayers.

Hi- I feel much better after reading rjp's comment! I never have to feel like an old fart again when I accidentally say "album" instead of "CD"...
Hope your mother is doing better. Take care of yourself too..

Definitely old enough to remember albums here. I'm thinking I might frame some of the hubby's Buffett albums for our rec room (aka den of dog hair). Hope your mom is doing OK.

Pretty cute, Mom. No, better than that. (And by the way, I remember albums from before there were albums: 78 rpms came in paper "slip covers".)

Billy Joel's "The Stranger"!! OMG, you are a woman after my heart. Too bad it's taken. "Stranger" came out when I was about, hrm, 16. I still can listen to it over and over and over.

I come from a long line of expert chocolate pie makers. Sadly, I haven't yet learned the art, so I only get the privelege of "real" chocolate pie about once a year. But that's probably better for me, now that I think about it.

Interesting list there BM, you've been around little lady.

Cheers!

Stumbled across your site by accident. Funny! Where did you get this "test"? I think it is too cute. I can relate to your bio. I am 34, have 4 daughters: 16, 15, 13 and 2 years old. Love the space thing huh? Good luck with your blog *smiles*
