Busy Mom's 2 hours off

It's no great secret that I love to shop, and, yesterday, I had the opportunity to wander around a mall I haven't been to in a couple of months. It's recently undergone some renovation, and, I couldn't seem to figure out what they did with the Starbuck's. As I was looking around for it, I noted some of the changes, and, dude! we are getting a Sephora in town! Tiffany is going to be opening sometime, and, it was interesting to note that it's just upstairs from Claire's, quite the spectrum on the jewelry front, methinks. Perhaps, if I play my cards right, I can get a bag from there (Tiffany, not Claire's) and carry it around fancypants mall and pretend I bought something. I fondled all the bags at Coach, wondered where the real clothes were (surely those on display were a joke, right?) at Ambercrombie and Fitch, re-remembered that J. Crew is for people who have never given birth, and pretended to be interested in buying the stuff I ate at Williams-Sonoma.

However, I'm still fantasizing about my little outing, not because I got to go there alone, but, because I visited this. And, omg, let me tell you I had some R-rated, all sensual-like thoughts about it. Busy Dad would be forever grateful if the first 500 of you put in 50 cents each and got it for me so that he would never have to rub my feet again. Line up in an orderly fashion, please. Visa and Mastercard accepted.

We got a new mall several years ago and there are stores in there I have never even heard of! I love it! I soooo used to not be a shopping girl.

Brookstone... Ahhhh... They have a bed I lust for there!!

I like that iJoy thing that massages your legs and feet. I could sit there all day. Unfortunately after about 45 minutes, they make you leave. Maybe it was the snoring, though, I'm not sure.

No kidding...I had no idea that N-vegas was getting a Tiffany's this summer! And a Sephora?!?! My fave stores in "that" mall are PBK, and Restoration Hardware. I think I'm getting old.

You just need to use your insurance to go to the chiropractor, free massages! Whoo!
Totally jealous of the Tiffanys by the way, I love breathing in rich people air.

Tiffanys is nice but I've never really liked their jewelry, it's way overpriced for simple craftmanship. Now take me to an Indian jewelry store and we're in business!

I love williams and sonoma. And I tried something like that brookstone piece at Sharper image and it just made my feet tickle.

BM sporting the ol' credit cards, lookout! :)

TGIF you guys.

Sephora is my Mecca.

you know, if you can just hold out for another few months, likely WallyWorld will come out with one for 1/3 the price. Those Chinese are ingenius! ;-D

Ok - so for Christmas the Best Husband In The World bought me an iJoy - HEAVEN IN A CHAIR. I highly recommend getting one, then he doesn't have to give you massages anymore. It is a win-win situation!

Oh, Busy Mom, go over to the Coach outlet store in Lebanon. I have found lovely items there for a tiny percentage of the regular price, especially when they're having a sale. And the staff is always really sweet.

I have to admit that I found my big black Coach tote at the CoolSprings Marshall's several years ago, though. It's a $400 bag that had been marked down to $95. The speed with which I clutched it to my bosom and made it to the checkout counter is still whispered about there.

By the way, you could drop just 20 bucks at the Tiffany store (for this) and get a bag with which to circumnavigate the mall. And carry your lunch to work. And tote your kids' homework-to-be-signed.

The girls made me try that massager the last time we were at "that" mall together. As my toddler says, "Whoa."

And Sephora! Sephora! I got inappropriately excited when I was there the other day and saw the sign. Now I can buy my Lip Venom without paying shipping charges...

I never feel as ugly and frumpy and so compelled to spend money in order to reverse the frumpy ugliness as when I go to that mall.

I spent time with that foot massager on our Christmas vacation it was very hard to leave Brookstone without one!

I have one item from Tiffany--the cheapest silver bracelet they make--all because dh's employer decided that $75 Tiffany gift certificates would make a good 5-year service award. Even for my bracelet dh had to cough up some of the price. I'd have loved to see the faces on the warehouse employees' faces when they opened their little "bonuses."

Brookstone is one of my MOST FAVORITE PLACES - EVER!!!! I love that store.

*sigh* I'd just like to go to the grocery store alone, forget about the mall!
