Pardon me, Internet...

...but does anyone have any Preschooler Tranquilizer Darts I can borrow? It's nap time and we're fresh out.

Despite my repeated requests, those Tylenol people stanuchly refuse to consider introducing Tylenol PM Jr. I say it'd be an instant bestseller. Am I right?

Spend a fortune on movie tickets for a movie only the preschooler will love and food for the movie. He'll be asleep 30 minutes into the movie.

I think there are some extra ones hidden in the bottom of the Children's Robitussin bottle... (kidding!)

Take him for a brief car ride, diagnosis him with motion sickness, and give him a Dramanine. He'll be out in no time!

Out of these here too and I've got two of them right now NOT using naptime as it should be used and how I was planning on using it.

I only have those in the dosage for 11 year olds.

Benadryl. Because it's ALWAYS allergy season at my house.

(What? I'm allergic to unrested three-year-olds. It's true!)

I hate it when my kids don't respect my need for them to nap! :) Both of mine are zonked out and it's 5 p.m. and I really, really don't want to wake them.

Sorry, I used them all on myself!

If you find one let me know

I have a small stash of Paregoric left from, oh, 10 years ago? What dooes it say about me that I can't bear to throw away this opium based med? Does anyone even prescribe it anymore?

No, but I hear if you find a Dora or some other cartoon, that will do the trick.

I think Target has those tranquilizer guns. Maybe you can find one that Issac Mizrahi designed. Why not? He does everything else. It will be a hideous pink color with a gawd-awful flower on it somewhere. And then whoof ::very fashionable dart into preschooler::

Instant nap! With Mizrahi flair!

Hate to tell you this. And I only say this because we are there with our 3 yr old. But, it could be time to bag the nap and shoot for the "run'em all day and watch them crash at 7:30pm with no fight". Who needs drugs when you have exhaustion.

I realize that I'm coming in late to the conversation, but I find a car ride to be a good sedative. Cost of gas versus cost of sanity. Hmmm...

A mallet works just as well as those darts - and if you do it right, no marks!

Benadryl....Kids nighttime cough medicine works too...or so I hear. :)
