Seems no matter how good an idea (fighting racism is after all a noble quest), people can take it not only to extreme but obscene levels of stupidity, and this just proves the point.

We have (because the little woman won't let me put it in the shredder), a copy of "Politcally Correct Bedtime Stories" (want to check it out, you can get a used copy for .01 on Amazon.com) a friend gave us when our daughter was born, so unfortunately this is also not the first time I have heard of this stupidity.

Oh, my. And here I thought the song was about wooly little animals, not people. Though even back in my days (long before the term "politically correct") had been invented, we sang another verse about "Baa, baa white sheep" and that one gave the wool to the little girl down the lane instead of the boy.

And Latte Man, we have the PC Bedtime Stories book--I always assumed that they were SUPPOSED to be funny, unlike this school which is taking itself far too seriously.
