I don't make 'em up, I just report them

Oh, the plans I had. I was going to regale you all with wisdom and humor, but, I was foiled.

I selflessly volunteered to take Busy Girl to sports training (for her soccer team) tonight. It's about a 30 minute drive, so I thought I'd spare Busy Dad the trouble. Can I help it if the sports training place has big leather chairs and wifi? No, I cannot. But, somehow, at the last minute, I had to take The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby with me. He does not do big leather chairs and wifi, but, he does do cheeseburgers and fries, so we ate while Busy Girl did her thing at training.

We were listening to Feel Good, Inc. by Gorillaz on the radio (it still sounds like "Horshack, shimmy shimmy" to me) and, the song has the sound of a guy laughing:

The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby: "What's he laughing at?"
Me: "I don't know, I guess something's funny. I don't know what it is."
The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby: (ponders this a moment) "Rock n' roll. Rock n' roll is funny."

I have that on my iPod - I think it was my first iTune I bought. But when it's late in the afternoon at work and it comes on - when the guy starts laughing, I can't help but start laughing too.

That Preschooler Formerly Known As Busy Baby - now he's funny. Lucky you!

OH.MY.GOODNESS.

I am so glad you posted about this song because I have FOREVER been trying to figure out the name of it!

Thanks, now I have love shack stuck in my head. Maybe I can be so kind and get you stuck with ManaMana.

We listened to that song, too. We also like the part about the "chocolate attack." Think maybe that's why we dance to it in Jazzercise??

As Marge Simpson once said, "Music is none of my business." I do think rock and roll is funny, though!

oh he's so funny! love that kid!

Absolutely. Rock n' Roll is funny.
