I took Busy Girl to a frined's house to spend the night. Her friend is an only child. I walked into their house and noticed that the parents had time to sit down in their unstained den and watch things on TV that weren't Disney or the Cartoon Network. They could carry on a conversation without interruption. Did you hear that?! Complete, adult sentences! Their weekend chores were finished. What is this "finished" and "free time" these natives spoke of? They seemed very happy, but, it sounds very boring to me. However, I'd be willing to try it out for a weekend, you know, just to make sure it's not for me.

By the way, could you use an additional $1,000 every month? Not me, I have all the money I need (/sarcasm), but, you might be intersted in the Mastercard Monthly Bonus Sweepstakes. Between now and May 31st, Mastercard debit holders in the United States have a chance to win $1,000 monthly over 10 years. All you have to do is use your Mastercard debit card for the daily things you do like going to the drycleaner, post office, gas station, grocery store or on whatever other errands you run. Each purchase you make during this time is an automatic entry to win, so, go check it out.

You seem to find time enough to blog in adult sentences... ;)
My oldest spent the night at a friend's house, too. Now, if I could only find somebody to take the other two off my hands...
Travis has his first overnight tonight for a birthday of a friend...Scott's in a golf tourney for a fundraiser until 9 p.m...I don't know what to do with myself and Tyler!
Free time...what is that? (as dirty laundry and dirty dishes pile up in the background).
I like the weekend test-run idea. I often contemplate those retreats run at a nearby monastery. Or sending the kids to one...
I was alone on Friday and spent 5.5 hours(!) yapping on the phone and working the internet. FUN!
Hey I like the way it looks in here!!! I'm glad you didn't get rid of the chick though because that's what I associate Busy Mom looking like.
If those people are anything like me, they are secretly jealous of you for having more than one child. Honest!
Man, people with free time just SUCK! Why do they have to rub their clean, organized, beautiful, relaxed lives in our faces?
Okay, bitterness gone now. I'm happy for them. Really.
