Today's awkward soccer moment"HEAD! HEAD! I want nothing but head! I want head!"
-opposing coach (a very nice guy, not a perv or anything) during Busy Girl's soccer game today, when he was directing his team to score on a corner kick by heading the ball into the goal.
P.S. nothing new with my mother, she's still in the hospital

Please be sure to keep us informed about your mom. I think about her often.
I join others in praying for your family.
I believe coach served as the voice of most men as he directed the team to score a goal today. ;)
Love the "soccerisms" One of my favorites is heard frequently during the men's games I attend:
"MAN ON - MAN COMING HARD"
It is, of course the phrase they use to indicate an opponent is headed their direction, but I giggle in a very mature way every time they say it ;)
nothing but head!
man on man coming hard!!!
oh my...
Boy - your soccer games are more interesting than ours! ;)
I found myself yelling "Get your balls over here!" at our pee-wee team the other night.
The 12 year old in me would have laughed my butt off right then and there.
Praying for the peace for your mother.
hmmmm
What makes this moment even funnier is that he probably didn't even realize what he was saying!
Thanks for this mornings laugh!
Maybe the soccer coach was sending a subliminal message to his wife.
T-ball coach to Kennedi's team last week:
"Everybody grab your balls."
and
"Keep your eye on his balls."
And all the soccer moms roll their eyes and go "typical male."
Oh, dear, I guess he wasn't using his HEAD when yelling that. Is he really that innocent?
Were you able to hold it together after that? I would have been so tempted to respond, "Yeah, that's what HE said!"
spoken like a true male chauvinist... er... um... ref!
Heh heh. :)
ha ha ha.
Hope your mom is doing better.
Hm, maybe I should be paying closer attention at sporting events. Sending prayers for your mom.
very funny ;)
& i hope your mom gets better very soon...
