Pretzels are inconvenient

It's quite time consuming to eat around all the pretzels in the snack mix. Consumption of said mix would be much simpler without these salty little wastes of my time.

I actually go for the pretzels, but only when I'm eating them in the snack mix. Otherwise, I'm just not a pretzel eater.

Ha ha! I was just thinking the exact same thing last night. You know, since I was 'just looking' at the snack mix. *blush*

I'll trade you the pretzels for the bagel chips. What is their purpose?

What I don't like are those little oval dark rye/pumperknickel looking pieces of toast in the bag. Yuck!

Frustrating=my 6-year-old only likes the "little toasts" in such snack mixes. He actually picks through them until only pretzels are left...rejected.

Hey, I like the pretzels....now the waste is the little brown pieces of toast!

See, I'm more of a trail mix kind of gal, but I don't like the nuts. I'd rather eat just the raisins and M&Ms, but they have to have that light dusting of salt from the nuts to make them primo.

Are you sure this is Busy Mom? I could have made the SAME POST tonight! My question... what do you do with all these leftover pretzels?

I'll trade you your pretzels for my macadamia nuts...

In my husband's family, you'll get your hand smacked for picking and choosing certain things out of the party mix. They keep telling me you're supposed to grab a handful and eat everything! That doesn't stop me from picking out the peanuts though.

My dog even picks out the kibbles she doesnt like and leaves them on the floor beside her bowl...go figure!!

Luckily for me, my three-year-old ONLY wants the pretzels out of the snack mix. That leaves the mini breadsticks and chex pieces for me.

Those little, dry, nasty things? I agree. Now a big, soft pretzel that I get at Auntie Anne's, those are good.

You mean people eat "Snack Mixes" without being drunk at a bar? Who knew?

lol I feel the same way about everything except the pretzels. :)

I'll take the pretzels... especially if they're covered with chocolate.
