Here I am!

Well, Lordy, how'd it get to be Sunday?

Did you think I'd been ax murdered? Nah, we had a great time. I shall take the lazy way out and point you here and here for a blogger party recap. (Sidenote: why does the other adult in the house, who hasn't spoken to me all day other than child maintainence dialogue, and, "what's for lunch?" pick right now, the first time in 3 days that I've had time to write, to chat?).

I had a headache all day Friday, I assume not related to above partying since I had a Diet Coke, but, I guess you never know. Actually, I still have it, but, I keep catching myself with my jaw clenched tight, so I guess that's the problem. No, I have no idea why I am doing that.

Busy Girl came home from camp Saturday! Yay! I was really missing the help with The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby her. We picked her up, and, went straight to Academy Sports to use a gift card we had that was getting ready to expire. Busy Boy needed football cleats (Yes, he is playing football. this year. Yes, I know. It's a 5th grade rite of passage that he isn't going to miss despite my pleas to take up chess) and Busy Girl needed turf shoes for indoor soccer that starts this week. I got one of these because I wanted it.

The fourladsnme family were in town (you're right, we did just leave them) on their way to Disney World. We went to see Pirates of the Carribean and out to eat. Actually, we saw Cars while we were at their house, so, I'm thinking if it wasn't for them, we'd never go anywhere. By the way, LOVED both of the movies.

Today, we are cleaning out the outdoor shed. Wanna hear something sad? We have a large car top carrier that we had been assuming was borrowed and not returned. Yep, found it in the shed, that's what a mess it was.

non-sequitur non-sequitur non-sequitur non-sequitur

The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby just scored on the Bimini Ring Master (also found in the shed) we just put up. Then again, he also just hit himself in the eye with it.

What the deal with kids today, anyway? Must they have dinner every night? I mean come on, they just had it last night.

My, my, you HAVE been a busy mom! I refuse to clean out our shed because it has spiders and rodents in it. If anything's lost there, I'll have to count on dh to ferret it out.

And I'm definitely with you on that dinner thing.

Glad you're back. I was starting to get heavy breathers on the phone. "Bring back Busy Mom... OR ELSE."

Side note: I'm so glad that your site now has the secret to orgasmic bliss in the text ads. Thank you, Busy Mom! ;)

The last time I was in our shed I was greeted by Ralph the Rat. With three legs. I think the 4th one was removed by my swift action with the edger. Immediately following our quick introduction, I found myself on top of the kids' playscape, screaming for my neighbor to come over and rid the unwanted guest from my shed. I'd still be up there if it hadn't been for her!

WOW! The shed!?!? a scary thought, I know for a fact! but GOOD for you! and funny, I was honestly just recently wondering why y'all didn't have a tent canopy... something that seems like something you'd have outside in that vast yard! great minds think alike! Glad BG is home... I know we missed our girls. New Orleans Boy had a ball being the only child for 3 weeks though... but he VERY MUCH wants to go to camp with Busy Boy next year. In fact, he was talking about it just tonight! It's hard to let go of the baby though.... even though he will be 10! what's a mom to do?

I've been telling my girls all summer that we had to clean the garage out. They keep leaving and not helping me.lol.

Yes, the same thing happens around here. If everyone is ignoring you... also try and make a phone call and whisper! It works everytime! :)

Wow! Nice work on the clean up. Sounds like my garage. No telin' what might be found in there. I tell others to enter at their own risk and that I cannot be responsible.

Was Pirates of the Caribbean good?

Diet Coke? Don't go getting all wild on us now, BM.

Thank you for giving my my first three belly-laughs of the morning!

Kind of like bills. You pay them and they just keep coming back...I really have to talk to the postman about that.

Those canopies are neato. I trust you got the orange one, since that's my favorite color.

No?

Sounds like you have so much going on! I love the shade cover thing! I need one of those.

We saw Pirates on Sunday as well...enjoyed it!

Glad you weren't axed. I was looking forward to your next wonderful post, though being new around here, I have plenty of funny reading to go through.

I tell my kids the same thing about going to the bathroom, except it's more like, "again, didn't you go an hour ago?"

Hey, if you're done cleaning out your shed, wanna come over and help me with my playroom?

*ducks*

Nothing wipes me out more than the daily, continuous, monotonous, neverending hue and cry of "what's for dinner?" Seriously. I'm sick of it. There has to be a way to trick other people into doing this for me.
