Update on my mother

My mother was moved to the hospice residence this morning. Everything's fine, no change in her condition, it's just that a bed became available today. More over at GenBetween.com.

I'll be thinking about you guys.

Bless you. I know what it's like to have a dear family member in hospice.

Thoughts and prayers are with you all. But at the same time, thank God for hospice and all they do.

I'm keeping you guys in my prayers.

You and your family are in my prayers. I'll be praying for the hospice staff as well.

I have started to get back on-line and whoa!!! I saw this and started to teaar up. Dear friend, you know about both of my losses these past 2 years and your wonderful support made a true difference! Now it appears that it is my turn to be available for you.
Like mentioned above by all of your readers and friends; you and your family are in our prayers and if there is ANYTHING that I personally can do to help with sorting out the bills, etc. I stand ready and available (please send me an email when appropriate so that I can help out). From one healthcare worker to another - you've seen it but it really is different when it happens to you.
I don't want to be overly mushy, but I will say from experience that this time with your mother will be very difficult and YET will also be [oddly] the most rewarding. It is a sad, yet wonderful opportunity to have meaningful time with a parent - both for you AND your kids as your family deals with something that is a part of life. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Your friend - christopher p.

Hospice is amazing. Hope you, mom and the rest of the family finds the comfort and peace of mind during this difficult time.

Depending on how you look at it, hospice workers either have a 100% or a 0% success rate. I think they're amazing people. Listen to their advice. they know the signs and the progression of conditions better than most doctors.

I'm thinking about you!

Hi all, I need help. Our family computer is running like a slug. It takes forever to startup and open programs and the hard drive activity light is always on. It also uses up a lot of RAM for some reason but the CPU usage is normal. I have another hard drive that is in a removable tray that I use, and that has all the same settings and everything, but that one is using a fraction of the RAM and runs pretty good! Please help! ?
