Sometimes people just know it's their time. My grandfather went that way. She's got the people she loves there with her. There's nothing we can really *do* at times like these other than be there for them, so they remember they're not alone.

My Mother told me one day that when she woke, my father, who had dies 14 years before , was sitting on her bed. He told her not to worry. She informed me it was time to go, and indeed soon after she did. I hope I have that same certainty when it s my time. Best of luck to you and your family.

Your Mom will be fine... she sounds like she is ready. Prayers however, will be needed for you and your family... it's only truly 'hard' on those left behind. Your Mom is going to be in a wonderful beautiful place with no pain and no worries. Your pain however will be strong at first.

It takes so much courage to allow a parent to move onto their "next adventure" when they have decided the time is right for them. But it's so awfully difficult for us to let them go. Be good to yourself during this time, allow your good and bad days (and they will surprise you), be patient with yourself and your loved ones, and may your mom move forward the same way my father did--surrounded by love.
