In a similar type of mistake, after putting Vicks Vapor Rub on my daughters chest and (insufficiently) wiping my hands on a towel, I found that there is still quite enough residue to burn if you then rub you eyes.

Ouch!

My youngest son got into my musk body wash one time when he was in the tub. His eyes were so red, I had to do some fast talking to the daycare ladies. They weren't going to let him attend because they thought he had pink-eye!

And here's another mint tip....if u wear contacts (like I do) be careful using mint flavored dental floss. It really stings the eyes also when transferred from your fingers.

This is why I don't use my husband's Nioxin shampoo.
