Monday, August 14
It's Monday. All day.

Busy Girl is half-way through her beach trip without us, not that I'm keeping track or anything, the Titans mascot hasn't run over anyone in the past 24 hours. We'll just ignore that part about losing to the Saints. At least Vince Young looked good. Right, Kathy Howe? She loves football season, go talk to her about it.

Today my dad's place of business is dedicating a newly built structure to him, it's pretty cool, I'll be going to the ceremony at lunch. Speaking of such things, my mother's former place of business has big doings planned to honor her as well. I know what it is, but, I can't tell anyone since they haven't told my dad, yet.

Speaking of digital photography, Darren Rowse, Blogging Superstar (I'm serious, ya'll, I'm a huge fan) and new dad to Xavier, contacted me (I know!) about a new post he's written at his Digital Photography School entitled, "10 Tips for Photographing Babies", go check it out and see that cute little baby while you learn a few things!

I don't remember KathyHowe loving the football - - I remember discussing the football....but I don't remember the loving of it.
We start tonight - "New Look Vikings" and all that jazz - oh, and I almost forgot we're playing Randy Moss..... CANT WAIT!

And where was Darren when I was trying to take the "perfect baby picture" 2 years ago??? Those are some adorable pics!

Yeah - Vince Young. We miss him here in the Lone Star State.

AWESOME!

I am sooooooooooooo ready for football season!

Bring your "A" game, Moss!

I am ready for some foooooooootbaaaaaaaaalllllll!!!!!!!!!!!

HUT 1! HUT 2! HUT HUT!

GO VIKINGS GO!

OMD...it was hard to type that with a straight face.

hmmm... this is interesting. Perhaps the Titans luck is now chaning. I mean, if this had been previous seasons, that cart would have hit Steve McNair, and he would have been playing injured all season (again).

What's being dedicated in your Dad's name? The new science wing? That is so cool.

Football. Huh. I saw a game last season. Sort of. Yeah. It was the superbowl. I was invited to a party. The stones played at halftime. I know that much. I ate some awesome food. I remember that. There were some entertaining commercials. Yup. I don't remember who was playing. I stood for most of the game. Oh geeze. Okay. Remembering more of the evening. Going to stop remembering now. Thanks... for the memories...

Thanks for the link! :-)

football is in the air here. my sons are in conditioning for the fall rec league season. same team. one quarterback, one noseguard/center. It thrills me to no end to see them deliver a good hit, throw a perfect spiral, outrun an opponent. more than i can ever explain.

never was i a football fan until my sons began to play, now i crave it all summer long. and all winter i mourn its passing.

we're thinking about driving up for a titans game at some point (we live in huntsville) fun, i would think.
