So is "Saturday of our Discontent" the opposite of "Thankful Thusdays?" Finally, something for my cynical ass to participate in.

Yeah, I'm watching this debacle. It's hard to be truly discontented while I'm enjoying a good bottle of wine in Sewanee with RUABelle and Nellie the wacky dog, but waching Quentin Nash, a guy we cut for being too fat, score on us like we were the nerds from "The Benchwarmers" is pretty darn painful.

But the fact that I know friends are sharing this awful experience makes it better. It's just preseason. We'll win our 6-7 games this year. I'm actually flying to Green Bay to watch the last preseaon game this year. I doubt the starters will even play past one series, so I expect that it will definitely be like watching two pigs fight over the last acorn. But the worst game at Lambeau beats the best game most places, so I'll be there. This will be game #5 for me in Green Bay.

Has anyone else noticed how bad Eddie is at color commentary? You're not supposed to interrupt the play-by-play guy by saying, "Hey dude. I know Cutler throws a hard ball." That's how rumors spread, Eddie...

It was quite painful to watch. Actually, who am I kidding...I ended up going to bed early (now up with coughing kiddo.)
