I dealt with a cashier today with a pierced tongue. She stuttered a little at one point and apologized for for being tongue-tied. It was SOOOO hard not to make a comment, but I behaved myself (or as you might say, my inner 13 year old boy did not assert himself).

I was the same age when I got my ears peirced. I was visiting my cousins in the mountains of Arkansas and some little old lady who lives in a cabin done them with a needle! ACK! There is no way I would do that again, being older and much wiser HAHA!
