Busy Boy: "I made up a song."
Me: "OK. Let's hear it."
Busy Boy: "Yankee Doodle went to town, riding on the flo-ooor...(something about blood and swords, I don't remember, but, it fit the rhythm)..."and with the dirty *mumble, mumble*."
Me: "That's nice...wait, what did you just say?"
Busy Boy: (repeats song with mumble at the end that rhymes with "floor")
Me: "No, the last line."
Busy Boy: "I don't want to tell you."
Me: "Seriously, I need to know what you said, tell me the last line again."
Busy Boy: "OK, OK. I said it! Here: '...and with the dirty gore.' "
Me: "Well, um, how about we think of something not quite so violent?"
Busy Boy: "OK."
Me: *whew*
P.S. People are still needing help with the "Dark Movies Game", and, I only got like 3 of them right. Go over there and give them some clues if you're into this kind of stuff.

Dark Movies - I have 27 so far (in about fifteen minutes)
Either I see WAY too many movies, or I'm avoiding work. Probably both.
That's funny! Busy Boy had me worried there until the end too.
His song cracked me up. Quite the creative genius you've got there.
Why is it when you ask kids to repeat something that they've said they always think they are going to get in trouble or are going to get a lecture? I get "never mind's" and "Don't want to tell you's" all the time. After much convincing that she can tell me anything it always end up being NBD. Oh the never ending drama.
I guess I was the one with my mind in the gutter. lol
I was worried there! I also have a filthy mind...
:-)
He sure is all boy! I'm an only child also and my boys always shocked the s**t out of me the way their minds worked! I never knew what to expect...and sometimes it was so hard not to crack up! I usually could hardly wait to get somewhere where I could tell the hubs outside of earshot of the offender so we could both have a good laugh. It's a lot of fun now (that they're in their 20's) to tell the stories and have some good belly laughs with them over their youthful hi-jinks!
I got all 50 of the Dark Movies!!!! :)
But it's all your fault that dinner was over 30 minutes late. I was addicted. LOL.
