What would Emeril do?

Busy Boy is hard at work in the kitchen making a pumpkin pie.

He's finding out that cooking is messy work and requires a towel, sometimes.

I didn't have the heart to tell him his grand invention of a "cooking towel" (I.e. a dishtowel placed like the hand towel some quarterbacks have tucked into the waistband of their pants) is, well, an apron.

Only REAL MEN can sport the towel-apron!

LOL I don't think I could have resisted that little piece of information!!

It took me 30 years of cooking to figure out that a dish towel draped over the shoulder during working in the kitchen, while looking kinda "queer eye," is extremely useful.

BusyBoy is way ahead of the curve.

The question begs...is he starting from a Pumpkin, or canned?

which reminds me, I must purchase a pumpkin this weekend, for the great pumpkin slaughter

Well, at least he's cooking!

Hey...he stuck it in his pants. That's a testosterone move if I ever heard of one. It isn't like he tried to tie it around his waist.

...and all guys should learn to cook. I love to cook...because I love to eat. They go hand in hand...

now I'm hungry, so I think I'll go make myself something to eat (after I stuff a towel down my pants, of course)

Whata man whata man whata man whata mighty good man!

You know, that's not a half bad idea... an apron made out of towel material. As many times as I've wiped my hands on my apron, you'd think I'd have figured that one out. Kudos to your son for his invention!
