Amen, sister!
Especially if it's already been saved for a couple of weeks.
That was the beauty of the fridge going on the fritz last week - it took a jackhammer to get the gack off the bottom shelf!
From the Tao te Ching:
"If by saving a food you thus destroy its essence, you have not in fact saved it but corrupted the meaning of the food"
If you save it long enough, it can become dangerous.
But however will you fill your time on "Clean out the fridge day?"
There should be some kind of leftover swap or something.
Keep it long enough and you can use it as medicine for the flu! (I know...eeeeeuuuwww!)
Amen.
...And the people said 'Amen.'
Amen to that. But it took me years to be able to do it.
If it is furry, don't keep it --- unless you intend to start your own line of fur coats for cockroaches or something.
I'm going to put this little gem on the front of my fridge because it's soooo true.
